8 carriers? Wow. This side of the pond we've 3 incumbents -- Telus, Rogers, Bell, and a bunch of small fry that either are subsidiaries of the 3 main ones, or have a very small local / regional coverage.

Also our governing body is pretty weak when it comes to "enforcing" fair play amongst everyone.

First week with the HTC One, so far no major complaints and I've by and large figured out the key things with it -- thanks Noir for the help :-D Need to get the microSD card set up and transfer over stuff from my old media player. I miss listening to my MP3 collection on the go.

How's everyone else's week going otherwise?

Mind you that's just my current carrier. Haven't looked at the other carriers yet.

Noir don't know if you want to chime in with how much it is for your carrier.
55-200 min Local and Evening & Weekend free 1GB Data 70.44 CDN/Month. $13 goes to paying off the phone.

Your Welcome for helping you to test the phone Hellfire ^^

So long as you're alive and okay man, that's what counts.

Need a pipe wrench to undo the piping to my sink to clean it out due to plugged up drainage... *sighs*
Otherwise weekend was too d**n short, as usual.

I second that :)

And I wanted to complain about the weather here ... (rain rain rain rain)
On the good news .. finally finished with a small private gym project, now I can train without the crappy usual fitness noise and the wait for the bench press.

In total 300KG of weights <g>

RIP Leonard Nimoy :(

A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP

...exercise? what exercise? Just feed me a steady diet of stupid and Sev1s, and I'm fit as a fiddle! :D

...and yeah, heard the news on Mister Nimoy but didn't get a chance to post, and there were how many more?

Deceased
---
Gene Roddenberry
Leonard Nimoy
DeForrest Kelley
James Doohan
Majel Barret-Roddenberry

Remaining
---
William Shatner
Nichelle Nichols
George Takei
Walter Koenig
Grace Lee Whitney

I think Kirk's euolgy in TWOK is most appropriate "Of all the Souls I've encountered in my travels,
His was the most human."

On a lighter note, Noir and I saw Kingsmen : Secret Service last night... definately on my "to get"
when it comes out on DVD/BD!

Reasons to watch (in no particular order)
- if you like Bond/Bourne/Bauer-type spy movies
- Colin Firth
- Michael Caine
- a WBC-standin congregation kill itself -- this is AFTER Firth delivering the punchline "I'm a Catholic whore currently enjoying congress out of wedlock with my black Jewish boyfriend who works at a military abortion clinic. Hail satan and have a lovely afternoon, Madam."
- watching "The Chosen" get their heads blown off in a TOTAL "F**K YOU!" moment
- Samuel Jackson doing a sendup of his bada$$ mofo persona with a lisp.. but a MAJOR aversion to blood

Tall and Cold, pls.

Went to go see Chappie with a friend... as a Neil B film, and as a sci-fi film, I enjoyed it. The robots and big explosions helped.
Still one or two niggling points I couldn't suspend disbelief over though, but this is DEFINATELY on my "to get" list.

Noir and I also hit a Comics and Toy show in town, saw a Sailor Moon wand for $265... could've / would've / should've but didn't *sighs*

Tall and Cold again

I thought it got some pretty bad reviews?
But hey if you didn't feel it was a waste of money I might watch it.

End of this month I'm going to visit the first comic con in the Netherlands. <g>

That wand is probably going to cost €265 over here :wall:
