Ouch! That must've hurt. This a volunteer gig or you getting paid for this?

Parents are back from their trip safe and sound, and we've a family get together this weekend... least there's no dreaded family photoshoot,
the last couple were ABSOLUTE gongshows. Work's busy and life just goes.

Got slapped witha 4K dollar special assessment from my condo. The items it's supposed to cover are quite logical -- replenish reserve fund,
cover operating shortfall and insurance -- but a) who got the bright idea to not notify about the actual amount till what seems like the last
minute -- initial notification early May with no actual figure, actual letter mailed May 20th, due date of amount Jun 20th and b) who the f**k
keeps 4K lying around, may I ask? I sure as hell don't. Also doesn't help that cooling for the whole building's broken down and we're still
waiting for repairs to be done.

It is volunteered since it doesn't fit my job description .. however I am getting paid for it.

Had to read up a bit... saw you talking about the Asus RT-68U

I have both the RT-AC66U and the RT-N66U and completely love them with Tomato
Essentially you make your $150-170 router to a $1000 router

I've set mine up to block Ads&Malware sites by host which is really nice on all devices

also setup a separate guest network with limited speeds
also set it to send the google dns addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 to a US(unoTelly) geoDNS address so Netflix gets more movies/series as Netflix on PlayStation 3 is hard coded on those dns:es.
also set it up with a tell-stick and made a GUI interface to control a lot of appliances and lightning in the home

works seamlessly

Already got clarification on that : don't pay, looking at the amount going to a collection agency, or the condo board foreclosing on me
to collect. The law's also on the side of the condo board / management company on that score, so no point in me trying.

stuff can do to T/E/OC-carrier connectivity and do "office-in-a-box" functionality, THEN talk to me. Till then, I'm quite happy with
my datacenter and ebay scavanging efforts for home networking kit

Bit of bad news, my last grandparent just passed away yesterday. No word on the funeral arrangements yet.
Crazy thing was I just saw them not a few weeks ago, but didn't get to spend much time with them then.
I console myself with the fact they lived a long life... almost 90years by my count.

Been a little busy lately. But yes I did see her from the other side of the river. She looks alot worse for wear. Needs a new coat of paint.

Never mind we've over 100 S2S VPN tunnels currently running right now, ya wanna knock em all down to fix this?
