Using the bit of manga I've seen, the white haired bishoen (sic) is the student council president. The character from the chibi ending that I wonder about the identity is the guy with the bandana, since he shows up at the same time as Tessa. Wouldn't surprise me if he's a fellow member of Mithril. If so, what do they have about letting 16 year olds joining?
First half that had Sousuke mistaking that girl's note in his locker for a bomb was hilarious. The two best moments from that segment were Kaname finally getting tired of watching the girl wait for Sousuke to show up, and when she gets up to leave, there is Sousuke in full camo, with his camoflauged gun, and at the very end, when Sousuke was expecting another mail bomb, and Kaname hit him over the head with the harisen, opened the locker and revealed a note and some kind of gift.
The second half was even better. I think the first 2 or so minutes with the war footage was Sousuke's past. I can't wait to see the translation of that. If my guess was right, I think the assignment was to write an autobiography. With Sousuke's track record, what was Kaname thinking, letting him take her homework home with him? What was the "da da da"? I think it was written in katakana (loanwords), based on Sousuke's reaction. Then the process of getting her homework back had me in stitches. Why did Sousuke even need Kaname, since her homework was in his apartment? It was hilarious when she threw him into the street to stop the taxi. Of course it stopped inches from his face. Then was the scenic route back to school though the fields, with Kaname blushing, sitting on the back of Sousuke's bike. That would make a cute background. When Sousuke practically stopped pedalling going up that steep hill, I thought he was going to start rolling back down it. And then when the cops started after them... Maybe they were chased because they were truant from school? The Looney Tunes laws of phsyics apparently work in anime, where you can defy gravity. I was giggling at the maneuver to get into the train, and then when Kaname started beating Sousuke's head against the outside of the train, either because he had her homework on a computer disk, or they were on the wrong train. I could not tell. I could have done without the "Excel Excel" angry teeth, though. Then showing up at school, to find out the teacher had a fever and so class was cancelled. Poor Sousuke, no wonder he passed out.
Overall, the episode was great fun, though the change in character designs, particularily the boys not having a uniform jacket (boo! Sousuke looked so hot in his!
