Mierent Tsunar wrote:Thanks, that would be great. I've already developed a little bit of a stats/skills system that I think I'll keep (as it is derived from my favourite aspects of D&D, shadowrun, and the game my friend made) but I appreciate anything you can send, especially stats for AS's, weapons, etc. (which I really don't want to piece together on my own).

By the way, does the game you made use a d6, or a d20? I've played rpg's that used either, but I think the d20 is easier to work with.
D12 system. Our system is actually based on Starfleet battles. Sorry if I havn't sent it yet, the thing is really long, and we even Included a DAC (dammage allocation table) , and over 2 dozen sub-systems in each unit. That and the system is based on SFB's Impulse system rather than traditional turns.
Remember kids, trying to start Armageddon is dangerous. Do not try it at home.

[14:57] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: Not using MSN remember?
[14:57] Silver Lynxy: Oh right. You're one of those Trillian people, aren't you?
[14:58] Katyusha [Love Through Superior Firepower]: trillian people? =.= What are we, an ethnicity now?
[15:00] Silver Lynxy: Yes. An evil race.

hmmm, I'm unfamiliar Starfleet and the SBF impulse system, but send it all anyway, it's probably better than anything I could come up with.

If you can't send the whole thing anytime soon, would it be possible to get AS stats and weapons and whatnot sooner, and if you had a non-AS aspect to the game, weapons/armour stats would be useful. I'm trying to have this thing at least partially put together within a couple days, because I have a lot of free time for the next few days, and then I'm pretty busy for a week or so...that and my friends are getting a bit impatient (they never were patient people to begin with :-P )

Anywho, thanks again for your help in this, I can't even begin to imagine how much time it would have taken to track down all the necessary info myself, let alone to somehow incorperate it all into my game.

@Mierent Tsunar
Weel, I think it's been mentioned that in the Armory, translated stats
for the M9 have been posted. I don't know if anyone has a tech book
or not for FMP, but ask around...

...now the trick is translating all that kanji :-D

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Main problem is that you have to roll for every shot that connects. If you fire a long burst, that could take awhile. Which is why we limit things to 3 round bursts (with a -2 modifier if you go with it) every 5 impulses at most, which limits it to 6 bursts per turn (we divide turns into 30 impulses).

Hmm, well I guess I'll decide how much of your system I'll keep when I see it. I don't think I'll be worrying about burst fire too much (I learned from my mistakes in shadowrun), so your system will probably be better than the one I've concocted.

Thanks for the help so far Katyusha and Dangman, I owe you both my gratitude.
