About Tessa's brother

Post by Gabb »

Hey everyone, I am new to register but have been reading all the amusing messages on this board quite a bit. Anyhow a while ago on Live Journal a member who goes by the name Weez posted a picture of Tessas brother on the Live Journal Full metal panic board. The picture I could not view, and I was wondering if anyone could post or direct me to this picture. I was not aware they ever showed Tessas brother in the anime. Thankyou for your time!

Acutally he wasn't in the anime..

These are probably the pics she posted-
here
and here

There are only a few more around (in color), and when I can locate my scanner, I have a couple more to scan.
Welcome to the de-lurking world :-D

Ah I see now....hmmmm I was wondering where do people get these pictures from? Are they official pictures? Official meaning drawn by the artists who drew the manga/series? Also Jae I was wondering in ur desktop section, the last 3 desktop backgrounds pictures are said to be by yourself, were those official pictures or did you make them? And if so how :P thanks, sorry for all the questions

Anime Bishonen-type *Tessa's brother, that is* ergh!

@Gabb
The pics are most likely scans from art books -- artists and/or
doushinji <sp?> ie. fan-art. If you have a decent comics store
-- decent in that the guy behind the counter gets more than
comics and has a passion for what interests their customrs --
in your area, you can ususally buy or order them.

They're all official artworks.
Shiki Douji is the artist who has worked with the author Gatoh in creating FMP- and has done most of the illustrations that go with the original print stories.
(the FMP trading card game features these illustrations in color, and there are alot of scans on the site from there too, since for most of those that is the only way I could find those pics in color)

The two I posted above are from Shiki Douji's Colorful Wind artbook.
Alot of the other scans come from magazine articles and features.
The wallpapers I put together were done from scans- the one with Kaname and Tessa is from the artbook, and the 2 others were scanned from magazines.
(sadly my art skills aren't that good :cry: )

In fact all of the wallpapers are from scans or screencaps. There is some japanese fanart sites, but not much from english speaking fans yet :(
And the only FMP fanartist site that I know of is currently down for unknown reasons :(:(

Do you Know any web sites where I can view pictures of these FMP trading cards? Where I live there seems to be no store of the sort to get them :(

@Gabb
Can always check for online stores. AnimeNation comes to mind
as a well-rounded multimedia store for anime/manga.

Acutally the TCG is hard to find- Animenation doesn't have any of em.
(although they had the colorful wind artbook on sale recently...)

Animaxis had them, but they sell out quickly.

Amazon Japan had boxes for 3 of the 4 card series, but I'm not sure if they can be ordered there anymore.

Yahoo's japan auction site has been a good place to to see pictures of the cards, if you can search for
フルメタル・パニック in japanese. (have to be able to view, enter or cNp)

The card scans I have are here - I just steal the images and crop out the card stuff.
(I know there's a broken thumb, but the link works)
There are (uhh...hell I forgot to update that...) 300? or so cards.
Scroll down the product info page for set/ISBN info....
