This is a wild guess, but that sounds like the TMP, no? ^^

The SCRATGun is 100% SPP in looks, TMP has the frontgrip, integral part of the lower part of the body. (As in cast from same piece.) SPP lower body is cast without the front-grip to appease US assault weapons ban laws. The lwoer body is also molded so that there is physically no room to perform full-auto modification to the RealSteel firearm.

Glocks have wide range of numbering. 17 (original model) 18, 19 are in the 1x frame, 2x frames are compact models, about the same size as Tessa's gun. I would call Sagara's gun as 17 or 19. The 18 is distinctive from the top, with a cut-away for compensator.

H&K P8 is one of their pistol series, precursor to USP if I recall right.

H&K M23 is the 'civilianized' version of the gun they make for US SOCOM (Special Operations COMmand) with slight adjustments. It's pretty big one.

Walther. Carl Walther Waffenbruk is another German gunmaker. Famous for PPK (Bong gun back in.. ways back) and some other nice pistols and rifles. P226 is their series of compacts for concealed carry. QUite likely for someone like Tessa, fits smaller hands fine.

Maybe we ought to start organizing the gun nuts into a group, as sooner or later these discussions will get scary for newbies. :)

I think that just *reading* about Tau-week and the NUBQ would do a fair good job in scaring newbies likely to get scared

Although, if ya'll would like, I could set up a gun group here, and you guys, well, wouldn't have anything special, but would be easy to see who was able and willing to engage in gun talk.

I am also very into Airsoft, I own many gas blowback models like the KJW Glock 23 and I have this huge Marushin .44 Magnum Colt Anaconda that fires those 8mm bbs.

In the design sheets the label clearly states a '26' on it, but however in the anime the gun seems to be a Glock 26 that is a bit bigger than its RL counterpart.

It still carries the unique characteristics of the G26. The Full size/Compact models such as the G19 do not feature these.

These include the Tri-angular front barrel. The extended mag floorplate (which is interchangable between models, but is made to be with the subcompact models)

However during animes the gun designs may change a bit without much conistency, because the majority of the audience arent gun nuts like some of us =)

Gauln in the hijacking used a Sig Sauer P226 with a laser unit and silencer.

The H&K P8/USP, I cannot recall if it was used in the anime but there were alot of guns used in it anyway.

The UN soldiers carried a FN P90's when they boarded the plane.

During the reminence episode Melissa held a AR15 and the gun Kurz used to snipe was a Bushmaster/Knights Sniper Variant with a red dot sight, I cant really tell. Possibly a SR-25 or something. The Terrorist dudes were carrying AK variants.

Sagara uses a SPP as the SCRATgun (what does SCRAT stand for anyway?) And yep the real model is a civianized version and only fires semi-automatic.

That Walther was the gun Tessa uses. Very small in size, probably a PPK or something like that.

Gauln used a Cobray Mac10/Mac11 in the submarine hijacking.

The USA official held a H&K Mark23 Socom when he pointed it at Kalinin.

Dannigan used a what looked like a Walther P38 or S&W Shorty .40 (maybe a P226, not really sure) with silencer when he shot Rian.

Seina held a H&K Mp5k-PDW when she came out of the Savage AS.

Judging by the variety of guns modeled in FMP, I'm guessing that they used airsoft replicas as models for their drawings. Since all the guns in FMP are available in airsoft form.

That's all I can recall for now, I'll list some more as I review the eps.

I think I mentioned it earlier, but there's quite specific reason why anime artists copy airsofts instead of real steel(r) guns. In Japan, the gun laws are so strict that it hurts Americans to just think about it. Only ONE civilian (non JSDF/LE official) has permits for firearms. NBearly everyone else uses airsofts and paintball guns for recreational shooting.

Airsoft guns are great. They are realistic looking and generally safe. It's such a shame that toy guns can't be that realistic in america anymore. They are all these nasty shapes and ugly neon colors. If a cosplay costume requires a gun, you can't freely brandish the gun. *sigh* It's the stupid cops that shot first at kids with toy guns that ruined it for the rest of us.

Not really, I think its the kids' fault, they brandish these guns in public...they are idiots for doing so. I mean some of these guys have no common sense at all.

But no here in the states you can still get some pretty nice looking replicas, for example airsoftextreme.com or airsoftatlanta.com although of course they come with orange markings and all that. And of coures there are overseas retailers like in HK or Japan can import them here.

Although we are getting a bit off topic. I just have to show you guys my collection. =)
