Becoming Enlisted

1. Please feel free in introduce yourself- the Other Topic forum is the most friendly for newbie intros.

2. Please do take a look around before jumping right in- it may help you figure out a good way to make your intro, when you have a feel for how we are already posting.

2a Alternate Usernames (accounts) are not allowed.

3. Avatars and Sigs
Please keep your graphics within reason, and easy on the modem. I am on dial-up, and I'm one person you do not want to inconvience.

I prefer avatars smaller than 100x100 but may tolerate slightly larger if load time is easy on modems.
Avatars that distort the size of the forum columns, or your posts, will have to be re-sized.

Sigs are limited to 250 characters. Graphic sigs should not cause side scrolling on 800x600 screen, nor should I have to scroll past it to get to the next message. If I feel your sig is to large, in any way, you will have to fix it.

Avatars hosted here are available for use only here. Please do not link to sphere-zero avatars for use on another forum.
You are welcome to use all images if they are on another server.

Recruits who abuse the avatar and sig priviledge will find themselves unable to use it.


Staying on the Good List

1. INTERACTION
No abuse of other members. Period. Unless it's mutually voluntary. This is my most strict rule, and I can be harsh with people who behave irresponsibly. We play here. When we fight here, it's no more than practice. It may be somewhat rough-and-tumble, but it's all in good fun. We don't kill here, because we're all comrades.

a. Enemy infiltraters (flamers and trolls) will have their posts edited/removed, and will find themselves edited and removed.

b. Before initating a mock battle, ensure that your target is capable of taking your attack. Not all recruits are battle orientated or prepared.

c. If you take shots at someone, be prepared to get shot at back.

d. When engaged in a mock battle, body aiming is not permitted. Aim only for non-lethal hits. Personal attacks of a Serious nature are ABSLOUTELY NOT permitted. If you feel that someone is attacking you in a personal manner, and not as play, inform me or another mod privately. DO NOT make personal attacks back. I DO NOT tolerate revenge as a valid excuse for policy breaking.

e. Keep in mind that this forum is international. There are langauge and cultural differences, in addition to the normal differences between people.
Don't expect everyone here to share your opinions, experiences, or sense of humor. Remember that, more likely than not, another's intent is not to offend you.


2. SPOILERS
Please remember that not everyone has seen or knows as much as you do.

When beginning a THREAD involving FMP spoilers, please include a subject warning.
When beginning a POST involving FMP spoilers in a non-spoiler thread, please begin with a colored spoiler warning. (eye-catching, bloody red is recommended)

It is also helpful to include a short note on where your spoilers come from.
(ie, "spoilers for end of series", "spoilers for manga vol 2", ect.)
This permits readers to better decide if they will read your post or not.

Non-FMP spoilers are not as strictly mod-enforced, as this is an FMP forum.
However, We cannot be held responsible for the actions of our recruits, should you make a grevious error in posting a non-fmp-spoiler. (I feel that if you give away something, it's perfectly acceptable to let loose our pack of wild-fans on you.)

3. GENERAL BEHAVIOR
Please try to keep it somewhat suitable for a public gathering.

There are minors present, and anyone, anywhere, can access your posts (the things you say).
Bear this in mind, before you make a particulary riske or questionable post.
Try not to embrass yourself too badly.

Questionable content may include language (terms)/ subject matter/ Bootleg's / ect.

I am generally lenient, when policy is accidently broken.
I am not at all lenient when policy is intentionally broken, and I do not need to prove your intent. Belief is enough.

I will enforce this policy as I best see fit, and I trust my moderators to enforce as they best see fit. I am not careless in selecting moderators, and I will publicly back them up on all mod issues.

I reserve the right, for myself and my mods, to edit your posts and your membership in any way we feel the need to. I own this forum, and I have the right to do with it whatever I wish.
