FMP! AMV Work in Progress -- Abandoned?

oh hon it's just an observation i made .. i can't be giving any critique since it's entirely not my ball game.... and lately my ideas department has suffered some serious budget cuts ... so i'll be standing here in the corner shutting up..

I know everyone's been waiting with bated breath for the next version of my AMV. Well, my computer is acting squirrel-ly, so I'm going to wipe the HD. I'm going to then do this the right way, <technical> and encode using a codec designed for editting for putting the video together, and only use a codec designed for viewing (DIVX5) when I encode the file you guys will see. </technical> This entails re-ripping the DVDs. I've done that so many times already... At least my school's anime club has a really good music video creator and he's willing to help me with things like that (the technical stuff).

I've even decided what to do with the 30 seconds of dead time at the very beginning. Use part of the FBI warning voiceover by one of the American VAs, probably Sousuke's about don't use it as a weapon and AS specs are top secret.

For the bit where Sousuke is on the outside looking in with Kurtz and Mao, I'm half tempted to use the condom scene. Any better ideas? Please say yes. I'd prefer something from later in the series.

And before you ask, I'm hard at work on chapter 3 of "Today, Yesterday and Tomorrow" and actually writing the sequel to "Thoughts of You."

I know there are some things I want to fix, and will, once I get a chance. I experimented with titles in Premiere Pro (got to love academic discounts), and you can see the result in the very beginning, where I do the credits. So no need for 3rd party software for subtitles. To just get a feel for the un-DVD-ized episodes, I raided Jae's image archive for a couple pictures.

I just started adding the subtitles, simply the official translation. Does closing 2 begin at the beginning of the Homeland arc, or after it?

Taurec, I managed to work in two, count them, two clips of Mao and Kurtz.

I'm considering abandoning this project due to time constraints. I'm a full time graduate student, and I have things I need to do, such as my research.

I now have a boyfriend (who loves FMP?F, so he's good people) who is taking more of my time.

Is there any interest in me completing this project?

Life sure has it's twists and turns, if you don't have the time to complete it so be it..

Just make sure you don't abandon us :-
