What was the joke in episode 7?

Well I was watching thru episode 7 again and I realized I didn't get the joke about Tessa's bathing suit. She wore the one Kurz and the other men on the ship recommended after Kurz insisted nothing else would be appropriate.

So can some one let me in on it.

You see schoolgirls in anime wear that kind of bathing suit alot. Just in reality... most wouldn't. So it's sort of an otaku obsession thing to "want" to see a girl in an outfit like that, and it shows how naiive and gullable Tessa can be.
