If it goes like it's supposed to, I should be getting that issue by mid-week second week of Jan.

Used to always be first week of the month, but...
they changed distrubitors and it came late last month.
(by media mail too, instead of priority, and of course they still charged for priority. if its not fixed this month...

..)

Also Id be happy if Gonzo didn't make it. *ducks the hits*
Really! They're capable of some gorgous animation, but they aren't consistent with it. I'm looking at the quality for the 2 new dvds...and...ugh.

I forget where I read it, but during the con run I remember reading somewhere that Gonzo said they wanted to more than double the number of shows they could work on at any one time.
I'd just be happy if they made one show of consistent quality!

And I felt they gave FMP a raw treatment.
(story chopping, poor quality later in the series, not a very good attempt at promoting..../fanrant)

Heard somewhere that FMP2 wouldn't continue from where FMP1 left us, which would leave several loose ends dangling for longer... Anyone know about that yet?

Hmm... interesting. I better read the novel then, but the kanji is giving me a nasty headache. I havn't even gotten past the part where he introduces himself yet.

Well, if they do the second follow up well, then they can use flashbacks or some other way of informing the viewer of what happened as little 'fillers' I sort of like that method.

Well yes. I still want to read the novel anyway. Quite a few differences in there. Sousuke seems more emotional... although he is as socially inept as ever.

Mind not focused need more training and meditating..... Go to waterfall and get wet.... ( I really don't understand that kind of situation where a character would meditate below the falls and etc...)

It requires more concentration and will power to meditate with a river dropping on you than doing so sitting down on a bench.

Hmmm either way I think that FMP was done so well, that no matter how hard they tried they couldn't mess up FMP2...

Ok maybe I'm exagerating. Just a tad. But FMP2 keeping it's same characters but starting off at a later point in time would make sense to keep viewers more suckered in to watching as opposed to full on action casually starting up again in their lives again.
