I thought any info about a 2nd season was nothing but rumors. I know they made like a 15-20 min oav that takes place after the last episode and everyone thought that was the pilot episode for a 2nd season. But after it came out all the talk about a 2nd season died. There could be one it would be the first gundam series to have a follow up season but I don't think it's going to happen. What is there left to tell everyones pretty much dead and all gundams where destroyed and peace has been acheived. What your going to restart the war all over again and animate nearlly 50 episodes, and basically make us watch season 1 all over again only difference new mobile suits, characters same plot. Basically it's like Evangelion even if fans demanded a 2nd season the story has been told, there is no room for new material it would ruin the show. Some things are just meant to come to an end.

T.M. Revolution the dude that made some of the music for Seed
is about to release a new op single and there was that track mentioned it.
Could be that OAV what dfens is talking about *shrug*

Astray will not be an animated series. Instead, two 5 minute animation featuring Red Frame and Blue Frame will be made as part of the SEED MSV promotion

Is Gundam seed related to Gundam Wing? like is it the same characters

In other words do I have to see Gundam wing before Seed? to follow the story?

If they aren't related by characters then im gonna watch Seed but if they are... i don't have time to dl 100eps!!!

Seed looks pretty interesting...

Seed isn't related to Gundam Wing, it takes place in an alternate universe. G Gundam, Gundam X, and Turn A also take place in their own alternate universes (alternate, that is, from the original Universal Century timeline).

It's Gundam in that you have the standard Gundam setup: mecha,
cute boys, hot girls, 'us v. them' mentality, lots of battles, etc....
and LOTS more mecha

There is alot of speculation on whether Seed is a way to (re)intro/retell
the Gundam Universe saga to a new generation, though. If you compare
the original 1979 storyline with Seed, WAAAAY too many similiarities
to be coincidence IMO

There's actually only 50, with a Seed2 series not quite announced, but not
unannounced yet either. NOTE: Bandai announced the
R1 licence to Seed back in autumn last year, so....

I don't see why we need speculation. The director said that it was in an interview before the series even aired.

I read on gundams.net that on march 22/23 a Gseed special will air , doas anyone have any info on this pls
