Sure would. Too bad the Harrier jocks get pretty much left in the dust. All we ever see is them taking off, and of course getting obliterated in the last episode. Back to the M-9, I still can't figure out any possible way for them to get enough energy from a palladium-based reactor to power an AS like that, along with an ECS and still have room for the cockpit.

Maybe its was an AS-size flashbang?

Tessa's M6 was supposed to be in ECS mode, so Mao was tracking her with the visual snesors on her M9. In theroy, if you flood the camera with light, it'll loose track of the target, wouldn't it?

Well, yes. However I don't think an AS-Sized flashbang is feasable. Budget-wise anyway.

Okay, here we go. Found a pretty good pic of the RAH-66 with AGM-144s. The missiles are mounted on the detachable weapons pods.

Can anybody post why a HEAT round can penetrate armor?

It's a US Army concept model, But it generally shows the Hellfire more or less matches the missile the RAH-66 fired. As for the HEAT ammo, a HEAT (High Explosive Anti-Tank) round is generally a shaped charge. Shaped Charges are efficient in perforating armor and other materials. They operate by using the energy of an exploding charge of high explosive. The high explosive is usually shaped to have a cavity in the form of a cone, with the cavity lined with a copper liner.

When the charge explodes, the cavity collapses and the copper is squeezed into a narrow, very fast, jet of particles.
Though most uses of shaped charges are for armor piercing purposes, some are used in construction, as highly efficient metal cutting tools.
A copper jet is formed because at the time of the explosion some particles of the copper liner acquire a different velocity from other particles. This causes the faster particles to move away from the slower ones, thus creating an ever elongating jet.
A tip of a typical jet travels at speeds approaching 10,000 m/sec (30,000 ft/sec). The slug travels at much slower velocities - 1000 m/sec (3500 ft/sec).

Just to complete things..................

Well you can put HEAT under the "shaped charge rounds" section
But we also have another nice section the "kinetic-energy penetrators"
These are the toy's for the big boys ..

The innovation of combination armor required the use of kinetic energy to punch through armor. This was no new inspiration, but was the original concept behind tank projectiles. Instead of relying on the HEAT round's explosive jet to pierce armor, kinetic-energy penetrators rely on mass and velocity. The armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding-sabot (APFSDS) rounds contain very dense, long, slender darts, and are called long-rod penetrators. Commonly referred to as sabot rounds, these rounds burrow into a tank's armor upon impact. If the round contains enough kinetic energy, it will pass through the tank's armor and destroys whatever is inside. Often times, however, the round does not contain enough energy to penetrate all the way through. Although the round does not fully penetrate the armor, it creates many small armor fragments that discharge into the tank, causing destruction inside

It will make a real mess

Just keep in mind to use Sabot rounds against armored vehicles, like APCs and Tanks and use HEAT rounds against infantry, cars, trucks and buildings.

Yup. Also, the Russians at one point, decided to equip their MBTs with Missiles in addition to SABOT and HEAT rounds. The primary missiles issued were the AT-8 and the AT-11. This was probably done in order to incease the effectiveness of the newer tanks, and get some extra useful life out of the older ones. I guess they didn't want to bother trying to figure out why their SABOT rounds were not doing much to western-made MBTs.
