I watched ep one of Ikkitousen and I wasn't really impressed. Hopefully this TT surpasses it.

I'm a big fan of TenTen manga as well, and I think if the anime sticks to the true story/pace, things should turn out pretty well. I dont expect it to be great though, and I have no idea where they plan to end the anime since there's not a good stopping point in the manga. The ending will probably be gimped over, just like FMP >_<.

Also, about Ikkitousen vs. Tenjo Tenge:
TenTen definitely came first. And Ikkitousen did more that just "borrow". Take a look at this forum thread and you'll see exactly what I mean.

Oh, and about the Geneon license thing... this is a big debate among TenTen fans. It definitely does say Geneon USA at the bottom of the official site, as a copyright holder and/or co-producer. I don't see anything at all on Geneon's english site though. No official announcements at all. For right now, most fansubbers go by the policy of "it's not licensed until 100% officially announced."

I'll probably end up buying it if it's licensed. But it'd be nice to at least see a few eps of fansubs so I can decide how much I like it.

Just watched the raw. Not bad at all, I liked it. Any fans of the manga definitely will, though the anime comes off a LOT goofier than the manga.

Seki Tomokazu as the voice of Masataka is just perfect... reminds me so much of Sousuke ^_^.
