Any Rumors about an anime continuation?

Like the title says.

I remain optimistic, but I know that it is unhealthly to get my hopes up.
Anyhow can someone who knows Japanese go to Gatoh Shoji's Website and take a look;)

...last RUMOR I heard was FMP! S3 was coming out in 2005.
However, until I get something set in stone (or 94% pure titanium),
I wouldn't put much stock in it...

I think there are some stuff that are still unclear, after the two seasons of airing.

Who is the red-haired girl in the first episode? What's her relationship with Kaname? When did that incident in the first episode happen? Does Kaname have parents?

There are more questions to ask, but I can't think of anymore right now.

I really hope that the final season will clear everything up and end the story in a proper way.

Let's all hope that they are in process of making the final season of Full Metal Panic!

She's an unnamed Whispered girl. Them both being Whispered
is their only connection AS REVEALED SO FAR

IDOLO- I'm probably not going to enertain many rumors here. All I've seen (which is nothing at all even remotely credible) is 'some so-and-so heard blah-blah'. When we get any official evidence of a new series this forum will be alive with the news, believe me

But unless we get that info, I don't want people getting all excited over stuff that might not be true.

I'll even paste a huge headline on the first page of my website, which I haven't even updated in a year, as soon as I see anything believable.

Paulleejs- there is alot of discussion about the questions you asked already here in the forum. I know it's a bit of a pain to try reading it all, but the search function does work pretty will for specific terms and questions. Unfortunately the anime version, whenever it's truely done and finished, is highly unlikely to answer all of the questions.
The novels are much more extensive than the anime, so it's really hard to expect it to be able to tie up all the possible questions, particularly the ones that haven't even been answered in the novels yet.
