I've just watched the special (ep147-148) subbed by IY-F. Pretty good special about the past before Kagome came and narrated by Kaede. This pretty much fills in all the holes about Inuyasha and Kikyou's past and it also explains how Kaede hurt her eye. I can't resist sad women characters and Kikyou is so cool too

. I was predicting that she'll be found where the last jewel shard is at but looking at the preview for episode 149; it looks like she'll make her comeback much sooner than expected. Guess this special is to remind the viewers about her

i thought the only new bits were how kaede hurt her eye and the birth of kagome. the rest were put together from various eps

There's ANOTHER two-part Inuyasha special?! Woah! Mehas
to catch up watching soon. Least some of the focus is on Inuyasha and
Kikyo... there's many gaps yet to be filled between those two

...and mewaits with anticipation WHERE that last shard of the Shikon no Tama
is... last I heard of it was the part of Naraku that has the huge ears listening
for it. EERIE!!!

Caught the special from AniKraze. Yeah, patches the holes in Inuyasha
and Kikuyo's past... I'm trying to remember that snake woman and her
rivalry? with Kikuyo. The Oniguirio / Naraku stuff kinda confused me.
I thought Oniguiro WAS the spider demon, but the spec implied that
Oniguiro & and the spider demon are two seperate entities. But pretty much
confirms that Naraku assumed the form of both Inuyasha & Kikuyo to
pit them against each other.

Ahh... unrequited love... I'm a sucker for it!

...must see what happens next!

Oh, and LOVED them playing the original OP at the end of the spec!!

Heh, Japanese boy bands.

The episodes after the special had big developements. The defeat of a powerful demon, the return of a main character, re-awakened memories, and pimpmaster Miroku comforts Sango the correct way.
