Ahahaha, unfortunately a phrase you know VERY well is bandwidth restrictions.

I think I'd rather have a lot of HHD space and crap bandwidth limits though... wait... maybe not.

Anyway, I'm not sure what's goign down at Lunar, I hit Aone & Onigiri's subs...

Now I have no idea why the hell Lunar's encodes are much more meatier... unless it has something do with the audio encoding... But I won't even pretend to know how video, let alone avis work.

Unfortunately... AonE & Onigiri's font wasn't to my liking... so I guess I'll keep these Lunar subs, damn.

Wait... screw it. Since when did font matter that much. It's readable, it's neat, just not to my tastes.

So AonE & Onigiri win this match up... From the brief comparison between subs, they seen ti be on par with the Lunar subs. I don't know about the whole Meg talking like a valley girl deal though.

But the way Lunar makes her talk seems fitting. She looks and acts like an airhead (well, she gets serious sometimes)... so she might as well talk like one.

...maybe AonE-Onigiri's filter chain is better... who knows. Doubt it's
the audio. There's not much more you can squeeze out of an MP3
aud track at, say 128kbp vs 160kbp... maybe a few megs at most.

Waiting... HOPEFULLY Lunar don't do the group meltdown again...

Anyone else seen 7 yet? Since no one else has...

Spoilers!

Kyohei actually goes on a date with a normal girl from his cooking school to an international food convention. Afterwards, while walking through a cemetery, she's kidnapped by a giant robotic crow seen in the episode introduction. When the police won't do anything, he goes to the girls for help.

Jo is the only one willing to help so they go out hunting crow together. Meg shows up later because, of course, if she didn't, she wouldn't be able to get kidnapped and complicate things! This is exactly what happens, when the three are beseiged by crows.

Jo wants to go after the crow but Sei calls her and orders them to come and safeguard some clients (Barren or something like that) while Amy hunts down the giant crow. Jo reluctantly agrees and, when they and the clients arrive, the crows appear again and attack them. When Barren is badly hurt by the crow, he takes a container of strangle liquid out of his brief case and injects it into Kyohei, saying that "a human body is the safest place for it." After he dies, the crow comes back and steals the empty brief case.

It turns out the stuff is a special poison that, once injected, kills its host after six hours. Barren's technicians are about to go to work and get it out of Kyohei, one of the crows comes back and projects a message, basically stating that they'll trade Meg for the poison. Jo doesn't want to wait to get the stuff out of Kyohei and kidnaps him, handcuffing herself to him. At the very end, Sei has a rather omnious line, along the lines of "You stupid child. Do you really think you can survive after doing this...?"

Kinda' long summary but that's about it.
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish, and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and goodwill, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down on thee with great vengence and furious anger, those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers, and you will know my name is The Lord when I lay my vengence upon thee." - Jules, Pulp Fiction

Oh, so Kyohei gets some more screentime than doing the usual, 'hire me,
fire me' deal. Okay... well, watch it when I get my hands on a subbed copy

Thx for the review grateful!

I sure am interested in seeing exactly how Joe and Meg met and why she's so important to Joe. She obviously doesn't seem to care too much about other people's welfare. Honestly, getting to know this and seeing Joe kick people's asses are about the only elements keeping my attention.

Jo(e)'s the LAST girl you'd want to meet for a date... or in a dark alleyway
for that matter, but I guess that's her charm :-D Ahh... she could stand
a bit of depth to her char tho...vulnerability for one, soft and tender another...

...just as suggestions no one's actually going to take seriously. We'll see!

There's some inconsistency with the spelling of Jo's name.

In episode 7, IN THE ANIMATION, on her profile states her name as "Jo."

Regardless of how her name is spelled... I'm hoping for some girl-on-girl lovin' by the end of the show. :-D

Okay...save THAT talk for the OVA

// brainscrub

...back to topic... err, days have been slow, and no indication anyone else
has put out a subbed copy of B T, so my finger hovers over the 'd/l AonE
Onigiri' button...

Hey, all I want is a nice, innocent, moving, Kiddy Grade-esque scene between Meg and Jo.

And, considering the recent trends in anime, I think I'm gonna get it.
