@tiptoe
Try the latest version of ffDShow... do a google search for it.
Or, as Tsushima said, it could mean the file d/l's corrupted

Oh, have to give credit to Rei actress... LOVED her emotional range
in the ep, specially with her father

Hopefully I'll get to know just what you're talking about tomorrow. Looks like my friend bailed out on our plans to play Samurai Warriors all weekend. So since I'm so intelligent :-D, this is a great backup plan...

ANIME CATCH UP MARATHON #... where's that damn infinite symbol?

So I finally decide to watch #33. And dammit, the video is out of sync with the audio. Then I notice that the whole video is playing considerably slower than the audio, like it's in slow mo...

This sux.

AGAIN Tsush?! Jeez... you don't have much luck with your files :(
Just checked mine and everything seems to be in place.

Oh, here's a new thought... who's had the best 'younger self' so far:
Err, Rei's been shown, so's Jupiter... I forget if anyone else has either

Supposedly in #35 we see definitive proof of Mio's TRUE nature...
Walking target for testing crash-bumpers would be nice >D

Bah, Mio does nothing for me...

It's all about Minako and her sad tale of woe, and her impending death looming over her like the Grim Reaper and his sickle, singing wildly, each swing getting closer and close to our heroine's head...

She's desperate for escape. Who will be the one to free her?

WHO HELLFIRE?? WHO???

*ahem*

Anyway, Rei... I'm liking Rei more and more. Even though I had to FREQUENTLY rewind every 10 seconds to keep audio/video sync, those were great moments.

Rei's actress really hits the spot.

Now, what path will Mizuno Ami choose?

The "yes kaasan" path,

or

The "It's my life!" path.

Will Rei be able to overcome her hatred for her father that has brewed for a decade? Will Rei find the love inside?

Will Rei's father come to terms what he has done to his family? Letting family take a back seat to the job and singlehandedly make his daughter's world come crashing down?

Find out next time on act #34 of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, please don't miss it.

[/promo]

But I'm really liking the writers' angles here. We get WAY MORE insight on the senshi as PEOPLE with they're own personal problems.

We didn't get an as deep or rivetting look at the broken homes and the broken hearts of the senshi, who's own hearts they have sacrificed for the world.

Don't know... I haven't watched the RAW yet Tsushima

Suffice to say Ami & Rei have a VERY nice night of girl-to-girl bonding
at the arcade before going to solve their respective problems. Kudos
also to the guy playing Rei's father... ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!! acting
on his part... the bitter, resentful father to a T!

While we're on this 'broken pasts & families' streak, wonder if they'll
delve more into Makoto's past with her parents as well. They touched
on it briefly at her char's intro, but it's kinda fallen by the wayside now...

...and what about that senpai of her's from the anime? The one she
keeps pining over?

DL'd it... didn't seem to do anything for it. Funny thing is, it's JUST 33 (and now 34). The corona-vista 33 worked fine; other anime works fine; the previous TV-N subs worked fine... Me velly velly flustrated.

@ HELLFIRE
I think the senpai thing was one of the running gags. I don't think they actually explain that... or at least the small portion of the show I saw (damn you DiC and Cloverleaf).

@ tiptoe39
If all the other T-N subs worked for you and this is the first time you've had problems, then T-N has probably changed THEIR way of encoding and which codecs they're using. There was a topic on Animesuki forums about the same problems you're having.

With me I don't get any green artifacts on my video, but I now have audio/video sync problems (read: video laggage)...

@tiptoe
LOVE the avatar!! FELLOW MOONIE! :-D

Yeah, the stuff in that thread should help with playback, but it hits it
right on the head: clear out ALL codec packs (Nimo especially)
and reinstall from the ground up.

Something from the XviD FAQ:
7. What to do if I get green and or pink blocks?

Some versions released after 2/2/2003 had this problem. It should be fixed now so try out the latest binaries.
(beware - outdated now!)
16. I only get a green/no picture on playback!
Several reasons are possible: your VGA card can't cope with the resolution of the video - install the DivX-G400-patch from the download-section.
You installed the Nimo pack? The Nimo Codec Pack is evil[tm]! Happy reformating and fresh-installing your system! After that, stick with ffdshow or the XviD decoders. Just install the codecs you need, and no bloated packs!
...also, try an alternate player, like VideoLan. Pretty much everything
I've thrown at this player's come out fine

@Tsushima
Watched all of Classic and R uncut, and they never really explained
the sempai thing. I think it's just an obsession with her... I could
be wrong. Dunno... it'd be nice if they stuck it into the L-A series IMO

Now I want my own comp soon, I had Nimo for quite a while... and I don't think my parents want formatting the OS...

Nor do I want to spend the time doing it.

BTW HELLFIRE, am I the only one who can't see your avatar anymore?

EDIT: btw, I go incognito as Timeless Enigma over there...

Wait... I guess I'm not incognito anymore... damn
