novel summary vol.9

Post by ruri »

hello~ :D
i finally found my books (hiding in my closet).. since someone requested the summary of vol.9, i will do my best~ hmmm.... there are four stories 1st story is ridiculous .. Sagara is investigating "murder" case in
school.. murdered shellfish and Kaname is the "murderer"
2nd story is a very heartwarming story of School pres. Hayashimizu
(he is one of my fav. character~ a fascinating character.. of course next to Sagara)
3rd story is also ridiculous
4th story is how Melissa met Krutz and Sagara (anime version)

SPOILER ALERT~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sagara and Kaname went to a nearby school,Komaoka High School, for a meeting. KHS is a well-know, elite school and the student council pres. is an arch-rival of Hayashimizu. He tells them that Hayashimizu is a loser who failed to enter KomaokaHS and he is a complusive gambler. (and of course Sagara, being a avid admirer of Hayashimizu, takes out his gun and does his usual stuff^^;;;)They discover that Hayashimizu went to the the most prestigous junior high school in Japan and wondered why he is in Jindai~ (it is mentioned that Jindai is not a good school it is well known for pretty school uniform)

Kaname and Sagara come across this gangster, Kusakabe, who HATES Hayashimizu.. and he tells them Hayashimizu is responsible for someone's death. And of course Kaname is curious and decides to investigate Hayshimizu...
Kusakabe tells them what happened 3 years ago. Apparently, Kusakabe, Tomoko, and Hiyashimizu were involved in some kind of gambling incident (don't want to explain~ ).. Tomoko, who is a runaway, didn't attend school and basically she was a trouble maker... until she met Hiyashimizu. According to Kusakabe, she was out and seems to be tired all the time.. and then she had a motorcycle accident and died.

Few days later, Kusakabe and his gangs came to Jindai and gave Tomoko's address to Hiyashimizu and told him to pay respect to Tomoko. Kaname and Sagara were asked to follow him and they hear the rest of the story from the Pres.
Tomoko and Hiyashimizu met once a week ( i think) to study. She was passionate about going to Jindai HSl and he agreed to help her (no apparent reason) Since she was working to save money and studying in the evening she was very very tired. And one day he got a phone call from Kusakabe that Tomoko is dead.. but he felt nothing at that time.. and he just went on with his life.
When it was time to go to HS, he surprised everyone, including his family and friends, that he chose to attend Jindai.
The reason why he came to Jindai was to find out why Tomoko was so passionate about going to Jindai. Why Jindai? What is so great about that HS? and for three years he couldn't find out the answer.. until he went to her apartment.. As Hiyashimizu, Kaname, and Sagara stood at the balcony of Tomoko's apartment, they had the most beautiful view of Jindai at sunset. They could see kids cleaning the classroom, kids playing football, baseball, tennis, students running in the hallway, friends laughing and talking, etc.
They realized that it was the most peaceful place on earth. It was the view Tomoko has seen from her childhood and wanted to be part of it.

:::::::::::::Direct translation on the last page:::::::

Kaname: "What a beautiful view"
Sagara agrees by nodding his head and says "I am probably a very lucky guy"
"I must agree with you on that" says Hiyashimizu. "I want to thank her but unfortunatly i can't.. she is the one who brought me here (to Jindai)"

That's it~... i liked this story the most ... out of 4.. the first one was funny but ridiculous~ anyway,, i couldn't include everything.. so i skipped alot.. but feel free to ask questions..
hmmm... i wonder if anyone is going to read this summary~ :?

Uh, maybe. I think there are mangas for short humorous stories too. I'm not sure.

There are 2 types of 'novels'

Neither are manga or graphic novels (graphic novels is a US term for manga)

Full length novels- tells story of first season, and following dramatic developed plotline.

Short story novels- collected chapters about silly stuff- FUMO!

Ruri- I will be reading your summary as soon as I can find time ! :-D
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

There are 2 manga lines, sort of.
Only one follows the stories of the novels.

The other one is a spin-off alternate world spoof manga. It doesn't add anything to the primary story, and is entirely skippable.
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Uniforms? Jindai...Yes! Definitely! :kurtz: Actually that makes sense. Now if only Hayashimizu would realize Ren likes him before she dies in some Yakuza stuff. With Sousuke's training...That'd be unlikely but most unfortunate. I'd pick Jindai for the Uniforms and Rugby team. A better question is...Why is Kaname going there? She's the daughter of a UN (snort) official, and could afford to go elsewhere.
