Now that i thought about it in the other thread.
I really just want Souske to find some other girl, walk away with her. and totally leave Kaname and Tessa behind. That would be the craziest plot twist ever.

That would be a very preferable twist, in my opinion. I
don't think Sousuke's good with either girl. Anyways, I'm
going OT here...

If Kaname could be more daring like Tessa about her feelings, she'd probaly win Souske, just like that

Tessa doesn't reveal her feelings for Sousuke much--
she just tries to take advantage of him a few times,
which he doesn't like. He wouldn't understand what
Chidori was trying to do if she did the same.

Chidori's the main character besides Sousuke and the
symbol (or whatever one calls it) for FM*P! besides the
logo itself, for godsakes. (I forgot if there were any
other things too.) Tessa just serves as a diversion in
Sousuke and Chidori's [cough] "romance." Sousuke and
Chidori apparently like each other, even though they've
yet to admit (or realize) that.

she's a diversion in the development of their

I didn't intend to imply that she's only a distraction
in the plot, of course, as she has other roles and
she plays a big part in other places too.

Who is to say that Sousuke has to end up with a girl. He goes way beyond being socially retarded, he may be incapable of love. I'm wondering if he is even capable of maintaining a long-term romantic relationship. It would only be possible if Sousuke were to retire and for Kaname to really work on him.
