how many volumes are there in the manga?

well I went a little crazy at the comic book store the other day and blew over 50 bucks getting volumes 2-4 which I was missing

a quick search on google leads me to believe that I'm caught up so far with north american releases, but how many volumes are out there so far? Is it even being continued in japan? anyone know~ =_=

5 currently available in the US. 6 is due late Nov.

Currently at 7 in Japan, with more coming.

They're pretty slow in Japan because of how chapters are published, so we'll have a good wait between volumes after we're caught up. In Japan there are about 2 volumes a year.

two a year?! but but but.. don't some mangas have chapters released every week?

Yeah.

If I recall correctly the FMP manga runs a chapter once a month, and most collected volumes have about 6 chapters = 2 a year. Its not one of the speedier manga series.
