Well, since this isn't really an illustration from dd's story, and I'll probably do several more random FMP fanart drawings in the foreseeable future, I figured I should start a separate thread to throw stuff up in. (For an explanation of what a Lemon Shark is, and how I ended up being one, check out this thread and this thread :-D ) So! First drawing -

The pose I was drawing from was Sousuke in the Fumoffu episode where Tessa first comes to their high school, and Sousuke tosses Mardukas to the ground and holds a gun to his head. I got the drawing to the stage below, then when I was scanning I realized that this picture has kinda already been done before.... So..... words like "damn" and "it" and various others passed through my mind at this realization.... but nevertheless, I might as well continue. I haven't decided what clothes to put on her, so I'm absolutely open to suggestions. Nude and partially nude are not an option ;) (though sexy clothes are and option)

And no, in something resembling a finished piece, the "have a nice day" tagline won't be there.... unless people think it should be on her clothing....

That one has a lot of possibilities.... :-D

I for one could find it amusing if she were wearing a 'Smiley' T-shirt or a T-shirt that said 'mean People Suck' or 'Just Say No to Violence.'

Of course, you COULD put her in a wedding dress ("Do you have the ring" "He BETTER....") :twisted:

I've had the idea for this pose and angle for a while, but mostly lacked the courage to try and draw it. I finally decided to give it a shot, and I think I'm actually happy with how it turned out. (though I might reposition her legs...) The rather ~bloodier~ ~minded~ ~side~ of me had originally conceived of this picture as having her covered in gore, with lots of bood on her outstretched hand..... But it seems like too much effort at this moment. I really, really wanted to draw her with taloned hands, like the Justice pics, but decided not to cheat this time. (taloned hands are WAY easier to draw, and it lends itself well to blood and gore too.... :twisted: )

Let me quickly describe the process that I take to draw - draw a line.... erase line.... draw line again.... erase line..... repeat ad nauseum..... until I can get the feeling of where the &%$# line should actually be. Then step away from said drawing for a bit, come back, be able to see all the flaws, and repeat - again.

Anyone care to caption this?

See when drawing the bloody side of me was thinking something more like "Give me your combat knife"..... :-D

If she's in the middle of battles, but it's not too fierce:

If they're in a nasty situation (and the smile becomes another expression):

*ROFL* I like all of them guys, very funny!!!! I should do weird pics for you guys to caption more often! :-D

And the answer to AB's question is - Joseph Stalin! Not that I actually knew that off the bat, I had to do a search on the phrase... It rather fits Kaname though doesn't it?

If anyone else has more feel free to speak up, it'll be a bit before I have the next drawing. :-D

Yeah... it seems so.... :evil: :evil: :evil: Usually they have it fixed soon enough, but it might be a few hours yet. My friend's site whose on the same host is down as well, so it must be a rack64 thing.

My host has been amazingly unreliable, if anyone has any suggestions I'd most certainly like to hear them.... :evil:

You've probably noticed already but I've been trying to practice foreshortening. Practicing difficult things like this usually ends up being both headache inducing and frustrating, but I will persevere!!! Thus was born the little shark at the bottom.

Brownie points (or virtual brownies) to the person who correctly guesses where this pose is from. Your hint - it's a movie.

I'd wanted Sousuke to be shown with something like a wedding tuxedo on. Then while I was drawing I was thinking, "Poor Sousuke, getting attacked on his wedding day...." Then I was thinking "where the heck would he get a sword from???" and thus was born the two little sharks to the left :-D (maybe it was a wedding gift?)

My personal caption (feel free to interject your own) is "Don't mess with me on my wedding day." ;)
