a friend finally started watching fmp after much nagging from me and here's his verdict:

"nice songs, nice plot, cool main character, cute gals, nice mech animation and alot of panties! "

can you fmp experts confirm that what he said is true, i mean the panties bit. for the life of me i cannot recall anything of that sort.

needless to say he is now addicted and will go on to fumoffu and catch up with second raid.

Mmm, the panty shots. There was one in the second episode when Kaname and Sousuke were at the train station. The wind blew, casting up the cherry blossoms and also the back of Kaname's skirt.

There was also a scene (episode 5?) when Kaname, Sousuke and Kurtz were in the forest. Think it was just after her and Sousuke almost kissed (or at least gazed at each other for a long time). Sousuke pushed her over when Kurtz noticed the two of them, and it showed her underwear. Think it also showed them when the three of them were lying on the ground waiting for the Arbalest.

In Fumoffu? I can't remember any real panty shots, just the hot springs episode.

...and why do I remember these so well?

I remember the panties shots because they annoyed me so much, besides, the panty shots they do show are like the ugliest underwear ever. Who *wants* to look at the very uncute, unshapely, boring, baggy looking white undies that Kaname has on? There's more sex appeal in a Sears catalog. And they're so *obvious* about it it's revolting.

I liked the low angle panty shot of Kaname when she was captured during the school field trip and forced to wear that white outfit with a short hem. It's the only shot I remember. =)

Can somebody confirm that the ones kaname had were of the brand "hello kitty" as i recall they were considered a hot item while producing FMP ...

(/me remembers a time that /me was asigned / claimed keeper of the panties ... since sorakirei already claimed the glock)

Where are these stats from? I saw somewhat different numbers for Mao on another fansite, and these numbers seem more correct according to how she's drawn:

Most glaringly obvious one was when Shinji did alittle panty raid on Kaname's
balcony and got into an AS discussion with Sousuke.... needless to say,
Kaname crashed in on that and guess who had her bloomers incriminatingly in his hand

Can't recall any other panty shots other than that, tho there was your
usual fare of (semi)risque shots.
