Take alittle from Deep Quest, alittle from Blue Sub 6, throw in a Gaulun-smooth
villan who's a family guy at heart... a few kids going thru the 'becoming
men' routine... adds up to the military anime Submarine 707R.
The Premise: The world's 11 top nations (US, Britain, Egypt, France,
Germany, and Japan -- what, no Canada?) get together to form the Peace
Keeping Navy to oppose the forces of Admiral Red... a guy who's for peace,
a clean earth, yada, yada, yada... and who's a TOTAL family man at heart.
What, a wife to die for and 4 beautiful kids and the best employment
you could find was world conquerer?
The US' contribution, of course, is their latest and greatest SSN -- aptly named
the Great Guardian -- while Japan can only muster an old SSK, the 707
as a contribution -- no guesses as to how valuable this 'contribution' turns out.

Plenty of effects, intense naval battles, some minisub fun.... S707R
tries to be too much in only an hour's runtime... but if you want alittle
military fun, this is your ticket. If you're going for the DVD (Geneon),
my recommendation's to save the $15 and go with the standard version.
Not enough on the 'limited' to justify the extra money.

On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.
