Hi, I've been a lurker for quite some time on these forums, but I finally decided to get myself an account and post. ^.^ I've been following FMP ever since the first ep was subbed, huge fan since then!

Anyhoo, just finished reading part 3 of DVMC...Boku-tachi is awesome. ^_^ A couple of things pop up in my head as I'm reading, and I'm sure we'll find out more as the novels come out, since I don't think they've been answered yet...

*DVMC Ch 3 - possible spoilers ahead!*

- What's the backstory behind Leonard & Tessa? Other than the fact they're brother and sister, I wanna find out more about how their relationship was in the past, why one ended up in Mithril, the other in Amalgam, possible family feuds, etc. (and why is it that some pics I see of them together suggest incest?)

- I LOVE the interaction between Sousuke and A1!! I honestly crack up everytime A1 gives Sousuke a smart aleck answer. Which makes me think...if A1 is supposed to be Sousuke's alter-ego, would that mean it would reflect Sousuke's true feelings (i.e., stuff he doesn't realize or stuff he won't admit)? I think these interactions help build Sousuke's character alot; plus I used to dislike A1, but now I think he's the cutest mecha ever, hehe.

- Also, how did A1 suddenly get a personality? I'm a little confused about that...I know that Sousuke was talking about Bunny to A1 in End of Day by Day, and all of a sudden A1 got glitchy...maybe Bunny's name was a password in unlocking A1's potential?

- I wonder if Mao & Clouzout had a *thing* in the past...

And whether or not Kurz really has a thing for Mao, or if he's just being his typical perv self. Hmm...another possible triangle there?

man it's kinda disappointing the nothing-is-happening-between-Kaname&Sousuke scenario. and it's sad for Tessa, but it's funny how she's making molotov cocktails!

Sorry to jump into the forums like this, but they (Boku-tachi) seem to have put up ODBD's Ch. 3a in the "New Releases" folder instead of the latest chapter of DVMC.

Blargh, that is the best/worst cliffhanger for 3. That is not cool.

Why they gotta put Kurz in that situation? That just isn't fair.

Unfortunately, the novels continue the trend of giving us tantalizing hints of "minor characters" and their personality. Mao, Kurz, Clousot...It's barely enough to establish a baseline, and in some instances, they ignore possible chances for characterization. You have little snippets here and there, but they could do so much more with a little bit of an internal monologue not related to S & K & T...Is that so much to ask?

Psuedo Chan, If you think something is going on/ beginning/ something more between Melissa and Kurz, I'd agree. But then again, that whole big thread on that possibility might be gone. Clouzout seems too similiar to Mao in personality, it doesn't seem possible. Kurz is a principled pervert. I mean, he's not the normal hormonally driven one. He's got style, and suprsingly some his remarks are in direct conflict with the playboy image: Ep 11? Where he speaks of true love...Or somesuch. I mean, he's not a complete pervert, and even his grandiose speech during the Onsen episode proved that (and he could be a decent leader if he tried).

"I've been rather busy these past couple of months with graduation, moving, the holidays and wedding plans, so I haven't been able to finish up DVMC as fast as I had wished."

But I think that we don't have to wait too long anymore.

wow wow hold your horses , anyone mind explaining to me what thoose novels are all about . i been a FMP fan since i read it in newtype'usa
but my knowledge about FMP! is limited to what i seen in the anime and the ADV manga releases .. so to get to the point ... the novels translated in this link

publicated in the Dragon Magazine (aka Doramaga) right?or ?
are they any other novels being translated more than thoose avaylable on that link?

*the manga released by ADV that is currently at volume 7 how many volumes does it consist of ?
*the new licenced manga by ADV FMP: overload , would that possible by a translation of the ikinari FMP mangas?
