On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

since this is based on the day by day novels i cant see it
being more than 10 episodes........... too few if you ask me
unless ofcourse they put some in school episodes before they
start whit the "day by day" plot.
well i would like to the series be 24 episodes just like the
first 1 , but maybe thats asking to much

In issue 3 of Dragon Magazine, they said that there would be an FMP: SR promotional dvd attached to issue five. It would have interviews with various people as well as information about the upcoming series.
I think this will be a must have for me ^^

if they make it 24 epi could be possibly that it will covers and the dvmc novel
after all if covers only the dbd, the viewers will still remain with the "will sagara be with caname" think.
and i doubt if they will make a fourth season for that reason.

Good guys dosen't finish last, good guys are winners from the start
I don't know...nothing I've read so far has given any indication that the series would be as long as the last one, or that it would cover DVMC. Everything I've read has been rather specific that it would cover both of the ODBD novels (if you think about it, quite a bit of stuff does happen in them, so there won't be a lack of storyline to go on).

I think a good rule of thumb would be to see what novels were
covered in the first 26 episodes. Fumofuu covered the short stories,
and was 12 episodes (including the one not shown on TV I believe).
There were two major story arcs in the first series, so it's quite possible
that ODBD, and DVMC will be covered
