I go at whatever speed I can get away with.

The fastest I drove was on Ocean ave on Jones beach. Its a loooong road with water on both sides, no place for the cops to hide. It was 3am, and I was doing 140mph(225.30816 kph) in my slightly modified 1989 Mazda MX-6. }B>

I usually stay within 10 mph of the speed limit. Unless I'm feeling particularly antsy or free-spirited.

I only speed if I'm in a hurry to get somewhere and running late... even then I don't really go over 15mph over the speed limit. Guess mainly there's too much traffic for me to go that much faster than everyone else and I'd rather not swerve in and out of lanes.

Most of the time, I just drive at the same speed as most others around me; on city roads, that's around the speed limit and on freeways that's around 5-10 mph over the speed limit.

Getting a speeding ticket sucks balls.

Let's just say having to pay for a speeding ticket out of your own pocket
when you're COMPLETELY broke teaches alot about keeping within the speedlimits.

Hellfire: like that worked on me.

I usually do about 160 kmh on the way home. then again, thats only on one or 2 straights. the rest can only really handle 120 tops.

By dutch standards I drive +10
But because I work in the IT Biz.. it adds another 10.

Topspeed in my previous car: (2L S40) 205 Km/h
Topspeed while driving a Mercedes E : 238 Km/h had gas left but it started to feel unsafe..

Both on a sunday night on the autobahn...

Tickets: 1 not for speeding ... but faulty parking ....
