Ah, heheheh, I guess that's my fault :-P

But yeah, it's pretty obvious who Sagara likes by now, so...it's only natural to move onwards :)
Is it just me, or are there way too many talking decapitated heads around these days?

Well, Kaname's already had that choice before with that older guy she used to have a crush on. And that was pretty early in her relationship with Sousuke. Now that things have progressed, I don't see any reason why she'd suddenly consider Leonard. If she turned down a perfectly decent guy who she used to like for Sousuke before she was sure of her feelings for him, why after she's decided she loves him, would she start getting a thing for a cold-blooded killer who destroyed her home? It really just doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

Well, technically, he kissed her. Not the other way around. That's actually important to the issue since she wasn't exactly consenting. If some guy forces himself on some girl, she isn't suddenly somehow bound to him. If he forced himself on her against her will, stealing her first kiss, or if he'd raped her and stole her virginity, I don't see how that would put him in a more favorable light in her eyes, even if he was her "first".

You'd really like that turn of events, wouldn't you?
Maybe. But I think it's far more likely than some of the other theories I'm hearing. I just don't see Kaname even considering Leonard romantically. Setting aside typical cliches, it's just not part of her character, and I'd hope the Gatoh wouldn't twist her character to fit that plot device in there, but instead has other things in mind. But maybe I'm wrong. We'll see in due time.

Well, there is a way to for Kaname to end up "falling" for Leonard, that would
make sense without really warping her character, given the fact that we know
she'll be in Amalgam's hands (Leonard's, presumably). The very real psycological condition called "Stokholm Syndrome", where a hostage ends up
fixated upon their captor, because of the stress of the situation, and their captor literally holds the life of the captive in his hands. Not a healthy relationship, by any means. But depending on Kaname's circumstances, an
interesting possibility to the story.
I've found my inner child. Anyone seen my outer adult?

We've seen how Kaname handles hostage and life-threatening situations. Many times. Do you really see her reacting that way?

EDIT: ARGH! Why do I always do this? I'm in yet another debate that serves no purpose, annoying the hell out of everyone. >_< Please don't mind me. Carry on your discussions. :x:

LOL !!

I agree in that I can't see Kaname ever 'falling in love' with Leo. Not ever. (not saying it couldn't happen :P)

But who knows how it'll be presented to us? I never really thought it was ambigious who Sousuke liked (as per thread title), but we, the audience, had been presented with a superficial illusion of him having a choice to make.

Kaname's pretty strongheaded and has a good sense of self, but we can't yet have much idea of what sort of situation she's being subjected to. Drugs? Emotional manipulation and/or physical deprivation? Resonance? It doesn't seem hard to mess up a Whispered's mind
And then there's just good old-fashioned romance and seduction ploys.

I think those possibilities seem really harsh, but I really can't even say, 'Well, FMP is a nice, wholesome story where nothing really all that bad happens to the main characters'.

Personally, I expect she might become confused about her feelings at some point, but never 'in love' with Leo. (Maybe we'll see her do some introspection, maybe giving her more resolve with Sousuke.) Being held in captivity for quite a while, possibly by someone who isn't directly harsh or antagonistic, will be a different scenario than we've ever seen in FMP yet. Will be interesting :-D
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.

Well I haven't exactly read the novels, so most likely I'm wrong, but I'd have to go with Kaname. Just the way the two acted during Fum makes me believe that in the "anime offtime" souske would pick her...

awwwww i love this series *tear*

:-D
