@AEmer
We also have an unwritten rule here about begging / whining for help...
am I reading that here?
And you've obviously misread my intentions my good sir...After all, I was merely making an honest request for information, specifically concerning the nature of those involved in the obviously shady act of ripping anime... It was neither whining nor begging, it was simple recon.
But, you are correct, a more specific name of the ripping group would make searching for the exact same raw as yours easier, were one to undertake such a course of action...Supposing one had already aquirred a different raw, it would also open up for the discussion of possibly different raws floating about from different groups...however, the policy here is that we're allowed to discuss names, but not to spread something shady, in other words, discussing names is not considered spreading shady things as such for the rules to be logic, heheh...
So you see, I'm not a bad man ;-)
(...note:it appears that my bittorrent client is busy with downloading something right now, I wonder what it could be...I guess I'll just have to wait and see...)
Is it just me, or are there way too many talking decapitated heads around these days?
This is the preview dvd. It comes with a box to collect the series dvds with. According to this description, it only holds four volumes.
They did this also with the first series (preview dvd sold with collector's box), and that box held 13, for the whole series AND the preview dvd.
I guess in this case, it does look like TSR will be a shorter series, unless they are planning a second box (unlikely IMO- what would they sell with it?)
The audience applauded, even though it was not clear what Bush meant.
the last dvd box held 13?, how come?...I mean...did they only put 2 eps on each of the original japanese dvd's then?
Jeeze...that's cheap...
Anyway, does this mean they didn't do it with the fumoffu dvd series?
Hmm...I think your observation about the length of the series could well be correct, though...it begins airing in the middle of summer of all times...if japanese tv shows follow patterns like western ones ( a lot of new series tend to start up in september ), that would indicate it'll be replaced by a far "longer" fall series once it's over...Considering the plot arc, it doesn't seem unreasonable either...
What I believe will happen, though, is that, if TSR is as well recieved as fumoffu was, and considering a new manga has just popped up, there'll be a third raid too, during december...I'm betting it'd sit very well with a lot of japanese if such a thing involved the pacific christmas arc, perhaps done through 4 weeks, and then some fillers, and the next big arc thrown on right afterwards...
That's what I'd do if I was gatou, rather than do a christmas arc during summer...

from the excellent news source for fmp, fullmeta.com.... it looks like Shimokawa Mikuni will contribute her vocals for the upcoming opening and ending theme for FMP:TSR. the titles for both songs have not been released yet.
Japanese TV anime DVDs often only have 2 episodes.
FMP! and Fumo were both 2 eps a dvd, although, maybe they'll be upping the count for TSR.
So the first series box held the 12 vols + the preview dvd. Based on that I would guess that of the 4 this box will hold, 1 of those is the preview unless they package it in an envelope this time.
Meaning a 3, or at most 4, DVD release ??? (buying them quickly would become feasible again- joy!) I'd be surprised if this was the case- a 8 DVD release and they market a second box later on.
A 12 epper would fit easily.
BTW the TSR 00 DVD file that has been mentioned is probably not everything that will be on the preview DVD- that isn't released until the end of June, and has a listed runtime of 20 minutes.

It'll be enough if it's only gonna cover ODBD. At least there won't be room for poorly written fillers. Of course, I wish for more FMP like another 13ep for DVMC. And another for COMO. =)
