Ah, the ep. 05 RAW is out for all you die-hards out there :D This one was pretty fun to watch, although I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the previous one. However, there was a lot of great stuff in here regardless. I loved watching Blueno get his, in the face, repeatedly! LOL It was just smash! smash! smash!! Kurz sure did get an eyefull too, but boy, did he pay for it! LOL I loved Sosuke and Chidori's conversation on the phone amidst all the bullets. Especially Sosuke's reaction when Chidori cut him off in mid "wakata" and called him an idiot. Hehehehe, to me that was priceless. Oh and where the hell was Gates swimming, anyway?? Russia?? I loved it when he tried to get that guy in the pool. First the boot went flying and then everything else with it! Interested to know more specific details concerning Mao's talk with Sosuke on the chopper back to base. I mean, I have an idea from reading the novels, but it's always intriguing to see everying done up on the screen like that. Alright, I said my fill. I hope you guys liked this one, ep.06 is gonna be awsome!! Snip, snip!!

What is the next item that gets destroyed from Eri ??? First her laptop now her? car ... whats next ???

Mao looked great (did anyone see mr. and mrs. Smith - Scene yes I have been a bad boy. <grin> ) Blueno sure got a surprise, (and a metal toothbrush session)
I wonder if Kurtz wasn't there would she have pulled the trigger ???.... anyway that headbutt was evil...Security was a little too sharp for my liking.
Still the car chase was brilliant and nice to see that Kurtz keeps a perv *kick* in any situation. :-D
I was lmao when Gates was drowning his contact. He is my hero !!!

That new M9 model reminded me of the Zero model featured in Patlabor.
Again another great episode.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Wow, they did the whole operation in one episode, thought they'd use 2 episodes to cover it. This has me thinking that this season will be a short one with only about 13 episodes. :?

The meeting among the brass and Tessa, no clue what they were talking about. They talked about Blueno and though I didn't hear Sousuke's name, they did mention Chidori, so I'm guessing they're talking about removing Sousuke from his bodyguard duty. Who's the guy with the monocle? The big boss of Mithril? Any secret organization like Mithril can't be ran by a group of people, there has to be one guy (or girl) on the very top. Like Vesper (Mahoromatic). But after they signed off, the remaining guy talks to Tessa about her family (and brother?) and Blueno.

Mao gives Sousuke a little lecture about his future. Does anyone else agree that she looks even hotter with the bomber jacket over that tattered dress?

Ya, I've seen Mr and Mrs Smith. <g> Mao with long hair also reminds me of Ms Deep. The black M9 looks like Batman. :P

They finally showed a bit of the softer, more caring side of Chidori in this episode. Sousuke just irritates her most of the time when he's with her but she does miss him when he's not there. Absence makes her heart grow fonder.

Technically, I suppose it's possible to do the remaining ODBD material in 5 episodes. I had estimated the material covered in this episode to span atleast 2, but seeing as it was done in one, I wouldn't be surprised if they're able to pull it off. What I don't get is that there was a lot of additional material shown in the trailers etcetera. The second raid just seemed like a far bigger season than 10 or 13 episodes, and that's also what I'd taken into my calculations when I suggested that this had to be a 24 episode season, back after episode 3's release... All things considered, what we saw in those trailers may well just have been stuff that could have gone into the first episode.

Either way, this episode was absolutely hillarious. I loved every second of it.

Sup! Missed me? :-D

Great episode, I loved the ear-to-ear Grin Mao and Krutz had when they were done with the cars :)

Man, Mao finding the couple about to make love in the bushes caught me extremely off-guard. Other then that, it seemed to be by the book ODBD.

And... we get hair-cut next ep! Woo!

...no....

I mean, you're entitled to your oppinion and all that...but...no...he is many things, but cute isn't one of them...
;-)

added:

I just saw a subbed version(BakaKozou's)...it's really too bad they(not the translaters, the studio) messed up Sousukes swimsuit line...

I found several possible mistranslations - Sousuke, as he's conversing with Kaname, says 'we're going straigh!t' at some point, at which she's quite surprised...I'm wondering if what he's saying could also be understand as 'we're going steady!'...

Then, there was the point where mao said 'Lock and Load', which they had translated to 'Rock and Roll' - quite the mixup...

Fantastic episode.... They seemed to follow ODBD very very well, and although I liked the series well enough for the frist four, I'm now reminded of why I adore FMP! so much, now that it's back in the storyline I'm familiar with. :D

Also loved that Kaname is finally coming back into the story as a major component, and am very much looking forwards to Ep6 & the haircut! :-D

Also liked the way they ended the ep.
All the links in my sig went dead. ; ;

very interesting aemer

i haven't read the novels yet (was waiting to watch the whole anime series then i'll start... didn't wanna spoil myself)

i liked this episode alot; the whole throw in chidori talking to souske while being chased by a crapload of cars was awesome, and kurz being totally perverted looking up mao's skirt in the middle of it all was great

i found the conversation between mao and souske to be very interesting and i'm wondering if souske will pass this year...

also, when she(mao) was like saying he(souske) did too much, you should stop you have no reason to do it all... just stop guarding chidori blah blah; i felt like screaming NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOUSKE CARES FOR CHIDORI HE NEEDS TO PROTECT HER

*cough*

anyway, i think it was a nice epi, and having chidori cut souske's hair next episode is just priceless

*Hopes for 24 epis*

At first, I thought Mao says "Lock and Load" also but according to the novel, she says "Rock and Roll." Which is most likely what she said cuz she didn't enunciate the "d" in "load."

So Hekate really isn't the goddess of revenge? Argh KruZ! Making up crap. Is there a goddess of revenge in Roman/Greek mythology?

Hecate or as tze Romans called her Trivia was the Goddess of Magic and / or Goddess of the Crossways.
I think Nemesis comes closest she is the Goddess of Vengeance.

I'm not sure a phrase like "Rock and Roll!" would be terribly easy on a Japanese tongue. Too many 'r's and 'l's.

Personally, I thought this was the best episode so far (hooray for more Kaname screentime!). Kurz and Melissa were great, as usual, and the cellphone scene was even better animated. They also did a great job with the ending--ooh, uncertainty and confusion.

Of course, I, along with all the other S/K fans in the audience, am waiting rather impatiently for next week's episode. Ah, the long-anticipated haircut scene...
