There is a general TSR thread already, and if you have not seen episode 6, you should post there about TSR.

This week's FMP-is-great discussion will now begin!

Spoiling away:
OMG, developement up the ass! The enemy has a name now, Amalgam. Tessa's breathing animation: kinda creepy. Sousuke X Kaname's haircut scene, comfortable silence (that's the best there is, is it not?), well, until a rare Kaname fanservie

. Sousuke's sleeping animation: he looks so harmless and peaceful. Kaname gets a taser. Kaname's notes = classic anime prop for "be sure to come back to me." The twins + men = dead men. They've gone AWOL. Gates is now more perverted than ever. Sousuke's angriest face ever, smashes laptop. It sure is nice that Mithril transmit messages in English.

Favorite one-liner out of this ep: "This is just a towel, towel, towel, towel, towel..."

LOL That's what I have to love about Sousuke, he gets so flustered in unfamiliar situations that he falls to pieces. Tessa's breathing animation was...odd, I have to agree. It took me a click to figure out what she was doing. But then again, I guess it's better than just staring at an utterly still frame. I loved the haircutting scene at Chidori's for all it's little, minute details. Sousuke sitting alone, looking around before she comes in gave an interesting perspective. Watching her hand close to the side of his face was adorable. Kaname carefully placing the hair between her fingers; she was really relishing the moment, wasn't she? And of course, the good, long stare down the t-shirt!

LOL The novel makes it sound like he only got a quick glance, but yeah, he got a nice little view. At least he didn't pass out

And oh, when Kaname got the chance to watch Sousuke peacefully sleeping, a sign that he really trusts her, was wonderful. I could watch that 10 times in a row. It was lovely

It made me sad to know what was going to happen next at the end. Sousuke sounded really upset, and I don't blame him. That's the most emotional I've probably ever seen him. Ah well, the long journey for Sousuke and Chidori has finally begun. Good luck you two!

Omg.... the haircutting scene was soooooo sweet (Danger!! Caries!!

) it was somehow really calming, I almost would have fallen asleep too.
Definitive the intimatest moment between the two, until now.

Sousuke looks pretty harmless while sleeping. I could watch that scene over and over...

I somehow got a *little* scared of his expression in the last scene....

He certainly regrets it, that he left her...
Gates is truly a sick idiot, but that scene with the squirrels was so.... *dont have any words for it*

This was a really lovely episode. I do not understand why they had sousukes lipps moving while he was obviously not speaking with the hair stylist...wasn't that bit supposed to be internal monologue? or was it just him muttering under his breath, and that was somehow indicated in the scene?

On that subject, we also saw that Sousuke didn't really get to think while Kanames cleavage was in his face...and that, I might add, was actually in the novels, but only there, her shirt had some quality (it was tight, or perhaps semi transperrent or something) to it that made him see her figure pretty clearly, and it made him all warm and fuzzy inside, apart from the cleavage thing...

Either way, I suppose they thought his shaking eyes and fast breath was a better way of conveying his feelings than posting some of his thoughts as was done in the novel.

But yeah, the hair cutting scene was executed with complete excellence. It was perfect.

Gates being perverted...Well, I thought that was pretty funny...I wonder if they're depicting him that way in order to create the feeling that people who have been drugged to be able to use the lambda driver with optimum performance also develop these very weird psycological instabilities.

About the ending, I thought it was pretty fitting how he smashed the screen, but I thought the picture from the novel depicting that was ultimately more telling, let me just:

Although, the fact that he seems so angry it's almost impossible to tell it's him is pretty cool, I thought the sheer power of the picture is even cooler

I linked directly to these pictures rather than their thumbnails so people who haven't read further won't be spoiled, I hope that's alright.

Other notes: They finally put some new music in, in this one. I rather liked it.

About next ep:

[ecs]I can't wait ! Particularly, I'm looking forward to the showdown between tessa and Sousuke, and Kaname finding Sousukes apartment abandoned...those scenes should be grim, but absolutely magnificent, with a little luck...[/ecs]

... Oh my god, we've come a long way.

In any case, I still thought Bluno's interrogation was better in the novel, if not for Tessa getting creeped at Bluno's broken finger, and well, her pretty much telling Bluno off in her mind.

Also, I'm pretty much still laughing at Gates getting pissed because his kitten shows were interrupted.

I agree about next episode (Spoilers ahead)

[ecs]Sousuke's confrontation with Tessa is going to be the moment of the year. My god, I've been looking forward to seeing that scene played out ever since this series were announced, and it looks like I won't have to wait long.[/ecs]

Kaname: You're the only one I can trust, Sousuke.

The sweetest line from Kaname up to date and it's almost a confession of love. And the way she said it, with a soft voice... makes me feel fuzzy inside and wanna replay it over and over again. ^^

WELL SOUSKE? ARE U GOING TO FOLLOW ORDERS WHEN THEY PULL YOU FROM CHIDORI? HUH hUH HUH!??!?!?!!!!! Man, that is upsetting.
Souske is going to be maddd..........FURIOUS..........

Now that I think about it, Tessa in the interrogation could have been handled much better. I didn't think the "slow emotion" shot. It was too undramatic. It should have been like it was in the novels, where in her mind, she appears in the interrogation room as a shadow figure as she tells off Bluno, then a minute later, Kalinin addresses her, snapping her back to reality. Tessa has a very serious & angry side, but I have to see it played out in the series where it could have been.

I am afraid that TSR is not going to have the length of the first FMP. Things are moving too fast, i think. Hope I am wrong but seems that there will be only 13 episodes.

About next episode: Is Sousuke really going to confront Tessa? She didn't seem pleased when her uncle told her the news about Sagara's mission change. Dont think that Sagara is going to change anything . My guess is that, that new organisation Amalgam is going to try and kidnap Chidori so they will meet again when Sousuke saves her.

He was asleep. They focused on his lips because Kaname was staring at them and considering kissing him.

That really was a great episode. Especially that one scene. Poor Sousuke. Just a little too much stimulation for his brain to handle.

Those twins are all about getting the job done, it seems.

Weltall, I said the stylist because I meant the stylist ;-)...Though I suppose it's a little more obvious he's muttering than speaking it out loud, upon understanding what he's saying, I still think it would've seven more rash&sudden when he suddenly pulled his gun out, if it'd been internal dialogue...
