Ugh, I need a stiff drink. And add a round for the mods to my tab--I'm currently learning how to be a mod myself in the FMP! Livejournal community and would like to shoot myself, so I have a newfound respect for our lovely forum mods. This job is harder than I'd have thought. >_<

Aaaw the mods have it pretty easy here, it's one of the neat sides of having a 'self regulation' policy. Sure it has flaws but we try our best to keep everybody happy but I have to admit in some cases it's hard to find a balance. .....

In this particular case, I'm trying to be objective and mod-like when I really, REALLY dislike a particular poster at the community who is just being generally obnoxious. I have the uncontrollable urge to poke them with something pointy.

Well, we have a one-strike policy with certain things, like flaming other members without provocation and posting any underaged porn fics, but I have no idea what to do with this situation. I can't very well ban the person just because she's patronizing me and being an egotistical ass.
