well "Burning One Man Force" just finished, and kaname shows up only briefly in the last chapter
whereas TDD never showed up for once this book, "One Man Force" indeed
next month will be short stories again, hopefully only for a short while (no announcement on the next book on the main story)
ever since right before book four (continue on my own) started, Gatou commented on the whole story that it will likely conclude at book six, so the next book is supposedly the big finale, and we can count on everyone showing up then... can't wait >///<

I agree that the series may end a little too quickly. Rescuing Kaname will not be a trivial matter and would take up a fair chunk of the novel. That wouldn't allow for many Kaname and Sousuke school hi-jinks-unless they came in the form of short stories published later on.

That's what I was thinking. I wouldn't doubt that, either. Heh... Maybe even a few more specials, like the Cinderella one.Mangadude wrote:I agree that the series may end a little too quickly. The Cinderalla story was good but I'd love to read a story about their blossoming relationship written by the original author. Reading fanfiction can only get you so far...

Well, that Cinderella story wasn't a fan fiction. It was an AU side story.
I'm honestly not sure where this story is going from here. Sousuke will most likely rescue Kaname in the next book or two. From there? Who knows? There's at least one other guy who outranks Leonard in Amalgam. Maybe he'll be the next big villain they face.
Frankly, I'm just fine with him ending the series after rescuing Kaname so long as we get some good closure with the story. Maybe he'll write something of an epilogue in the form of those short stories.

Shouldn't you love and chreish before you go kissing someone (other than relatives)?
