It was a long time ago since I found an anime that really got me excited.
I mean animes these days are good too, but they lack the punch if you know what I mean. Mostly they are about a wimpy main character who gets on my nerves so much that I pray "oh I hope he will die at the end".

Well, fortunately I found the anime mentioned above.
Heat Guy J is one of the best anime I've seen this year.
The characters and the animation are cool and the music is the best I've heard lately. If I had to describe it I would say: It's like watching Cowboy Bebop.

At least I felt that way.

I like J for his sayings about man .. <g> animation wise I felt like watching Escaflowne.
I suposse it has borrowed a lot.

You were right on target Tau. The animators of Escaflowne the movie made this series

I actually found the 1st half of the series boring but then when the plot starting to unravel and more of the semi regulars like Boma became regulars I started to enjoy it. Overall my purchase of the series was worthwhile.
