Hmmm... I thought TAROS system and LD were 2 separate things? As in LD would be used by (for example) Arbalest and Venom to manifest the pilots desire in offensive and defensive capabilities whereas the TAROS onboard TDD-1 for example is used to "pilot" the sub more effectively.

To my knowledge there is no AS as of yet with TAROS installed (imagine the possibilities people!)

But then again, I don't have japanese skill to read the novels so what do i know heheh

ACtually, there is an AS with TAROS installed: Arbalest. It's mentioned that since Sousuke was the guy who started up Arbalest, the TAROS system was locked to him, which is why no one else can use Arbalest.

My impression is that for a pilot to use the Lambda Driver, TAROS must be present.

So TAROS is the actual system that links the pilot into the LD... I get it now
