*** [TSR] *** Episode 10 - Two in Hong Kong

i always say if you balance work and play you'll be alright and will enjoy yourself

what they did was take away the play leaving him with just work; ok so that's not all there is to it, but i think it sums up at least the part with the AS

as with every FMP episode this one went really fast; although, i don't feel like anything happened; i did enjoy it b/c it portrays souske's feelings of lonelyness; if it wasn't souske, i'd say that he would be crying his eyes about now... he looks SOOOOO depressed, and next episode doesn't look much better, i dunno what he'll do if he [ecs]hears from gauron that kaname is dead[/ecs] if i was him i'd probably kill myself, that would, in my opinion be the final blow...


what i love most about this whole series so far is that the first bit of episodes souske was this guy who only thought about orders, only thought about what he had to do; then slowly (with the help of kaname) he started showing bits of emotions; then in the end of FMP he defys orders so save her; but what i love is this build up, and after all that, 6 episodes into the "second" (or third) season his emotions come out; and i think even though it's been hard on him he really is progressing as a person (erm character)

that's one reason i really love this anime; it's the idea and the character interaction / growth

But the real ep 10 question is ... Why didn't Yu (F)(L)an *splat* Sousuke??
The reason why she was having a party in HK was to lure him out right?
or was it part of the plan to screw up the arx 7 in one package deal?

Guess they are saving it for the 'final' battle. Ep 13 How Sousuke got his Groove back.

Ah, but you forget, [ecs] there's one very important and very badass character in hong kong who's always been there for Sousuke...he's always shown his love and support for him, after all...I'm sure he'll get Sousuke back in his spirits in no time, if they run into eachother...I can't wait till he get's some screentime, it's been so long [/ecs]

And no, I don't really think Tessa should've done anything...what she shouldn't have done was yell at her subordinate due to her personal feelings...going biatch on Sousuke...I don't think he'd even stop and listen.

well i read this thing and everyone is blaming the leaders of mithril. i agree with you 100% but i am an open minded person and you have to realize that its not all their fault. souske, mao, weber Everyone in mithril is a mercenary. sure souske is getting more work than anyone else and sure he is going threw a tuff time but as a mercenary, his job is to do tough missions. a leader cannot look at if a person has a crush and is havining emotional problems, especially a mercenary who are suppose to do missions for money. anyways i tohught everyone should consider that too.

ahh the scene between souske and tessa, so short and so powerfull, MAN THIS ANIME IS SO GOOOOOOODDDDD!!!!!!

this episode is really good, it was good in the sence it showed so much of souske's character. and the way it was done i really felt souske's pain. i mean after the 1st and especially the 2nd season with souske so hyper, to see him down like this is really touching

Good episode that followed the novel pretty good, I liked the AS action. You could tell that one part of China uses Savages, and the other uses M6's. I first thought, and also in the 3rd episode, why the heck China had the JSDF's Model 96, because it was green. Now with more screen time and looking into it, it's just a regular M6 but painted green. Man, I'm blind...

Edit: Like I said before, they made Sousuke look like he actually hates Tessa. And Sousuke's bad mood throughout the episode was messed up, never happened and doesn't fit Sousuke. ECS, [ecs]They also cut the part with the AI talk, with Bunny Morauta's message coming up. I think that should have been crucial to the episode and to future episodes. People who only watch the anime wouldn't have a clue of who Bunny Morauta was, and did, and his important connection to Tessa that haunts her to this day. It's a pretty big disservice.[/ecs]
I never knew that the Shadow's blades were also firearms. Too cool.
