I'd have to say Sousuke Sagara!

I also like Kaname because without her, there wouldn't be a series or the "SousukeXKaname" relationship.

Sousuke and Kaname are my favorite characters. Kaname's one of the few anime females I like beyond being "a cute match for the main hero". She's the kind of character who can stand on her own or with Sousuke.

Sousuke is my favorite guy character as his character is the most developed throughout the series of FMP [along side Kaname]. He has good strengths, admirable skills and unwavering integrity. And I find it vastly interesting to see Sousuke become "humanized", so to speak.

Kaname is my favorite female character for many of the same reasons actually. She has the most character development [as does Sousuke], she is strong physically, mentally and emotionally, and yet at the same time, has distinct flaws that make her human. She is also a character that is full of contradictions, and yet these contradictions in her character are realistic and very relatable.

Kurz is also pretty damn cool with his ultra sniper skills, amusing quips and casual yet cocky mannerism. And Melissa is just an overall, cool butt-kicking woman.

Infact, I can't say I dislike any of the FMP cast. They all have their draw, including the villians... certainly the villians. Gates was just awesome.
