I recommend you try that in the Netherlands, most of the busses run on diesel.

It's all a matter of point of view ... You can't deny the fact they weren't very diplomatic. (struggling for bare existence doesn't always goes well with diplomacy) and ask Olaf all about the London bridge and why it was falling

But the afaik the term "Viking" refers solely to the handful of Norsemen who went off to pirate goods and conquer other lands in their free time. They were just as barbaric as the usual pirates.

I'm guessing it depends on where you live. Like here most people associate Vikings with pirates, barbarians, warriors, travelers, etc. It's like text books on some subject. Like last years history book, it had about 3 pages of samurai, Japan, and the Meiji Restoration, and we didn't even study it. If it was in Japan, they would be studying the key players like Akira Kyosato, Emperor Meiji, Shinsaku Takasugi, Aritomo, Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Hitokiri Battosai..., and groups like the Revolutionists, Shinsengumi, Miwarigumi, Aizu, Choshu, Satsuma, etc. Here we would be studying (and are) George Washington, colonists, Ben Franklin, Jefferson, Patriots, British, etc. It's all about geography.

By the way, everything I know practically comes from Rurouni Kenshin so the Battosai thing is inferring to it.

Seems like you need to reem a couple of new ones to a couple of cadets.

I count at least 3 out of uniform and what looks like a backpack on another. Sloppy there SL. Parade formation is also a little sloppy. Standing at ease while saluting?!
