Does anyone know a song that makes them think of Full Metal Panic?

I always think of Sousuke when I listen to Course Of Nature's "Wall Of Shame".

Here are the lyrics:

Actually, I was talking about that to someone today. There's a song that I love to listen to while I'm working on it, b/c it just fits the mood of the story, called "Here with Me" by Dido. The lyrics fit, but moreso, the music has the meloncholy feel to it that works well with what I'm reading. If you've read any of COMO, you'll understand what I mean ^^

Actually, I have a pretty long list of songs that remind me of FMP or at least certain aspects of it.

"Let Me Go", Three Doors Down
"Danger Zone", Gwen Stephani
"Someday", Nickleback
"Boulevard of Broken Dreams", Greenday (reminds me of BOMF)

I'll have to think about it some more. There were other songs, but they don't come to mind right now.

Anyway, I have this tendency to associate series with songs through what's on my playlist when I'm searching for info on the series. Hence... "Endless Love", Two-Mix.

Though, it's possible that if I get wrapped up in another story, in time these songs will remind me of something else. But for now, they seem fitting to me.

Hmm, Boulevard of Broken Dreams is a good one for BOMF...

I don't know if anyone else has seen AMV Hell 3, but I will always be reminded of "Teddy Bears' Picnic" when I watch Fumoffu now XD

Oh, and of course, "Holding out for a Hero" would definitely be just about any action series' theme song, but it would still work here, too- I can definitely imagine it at the end of COMO.

I think the e.s. Posthumus songs would be fantastic for music videos. But alas, I dunno how to make them! LOL

"Listen To Your Heart (original)": I watched the AMV for this and thought it fit in very well. Now if only the "Sousuke X Kaname" relationship would actually be put into action.

Jessica Andrews, "I Will Be There": Same reason as above.

Filter, "Skinny": I always thought this relates to the Whispered abilities that Kaname has and the psychological aspects of it.

Three Days Grace, "I Hate Everything About You": For those special moments between Sousuke and Gauron.

Blink-182,"What's My Age Again?": For the times where people are surprised that at 16 (I think), Sousuke is one of Mithril's top sgts.

For anyone who's ever let a girl down, whether in fiction or reality - Lene Marlin's "Unforgivable Sinner". Kinda fits the end of COMO and BOMF, especially the last lines of the chorus and Kaname's codename:

But you can't hear those words...

"Made of Steel", Our Lady Peace.

"Accidentally in Love", Counting Crows

"In the Air Tonight", Phil Collins. (Kinda reminds me of Sousuke and Gauron. Or Sousuke and Leonard after COMO)

And one song I absolutely love, that reminds me perfectly of the conflict that Sousuke faces in the two lives he lives:

"Gifts and Curses", Yellowcard.

Here's the corus:

Also, while it's kind of a rock song, there's a violin playing in it, and I love the effect it gives the song. If I can recommend looking up any one song that I've listed, this is the one.

"So Far Away" by Staind - Good song for Sousuke once everything is
resolved with the current storyline, I thought.

"Psychobabble" by Frou Frou - Perfect for the Leonard/Sousuke/Chidori
triangle, for sure!
