FMP OVA to be released in May?

This is the new post I found on fullmeta.com:

"An OVA of "A Day in the Life of a Squadron Captain with Some Free Time" to be released? According to a contribution on the BBS, there are rumors that "A Day in the Life of a Squadron Captain with Some Free Time" will be turned into an OVA. Is this the "bonus project" in progress that Gatou-sensei has written about? It goes on sale 5/26, and the price has not been determined."

Notes: The story is called "Wari to Himana Sentaichou no Ichinichi", and it's from the short story novel "Dou ni mo Naranai Gorimuchuu". The story centers on Tessa.

Sounds pretty awesome to me ^^

it could well be. IMO, it was a very beautiful side story for Tessa
who rarely got some quality onscreen time in the manga. That's got my vote!

why does it gotta be focused on tessa huh? i tink it should be foucoused on the on everybody mainly kaname and sousuke. thanx for the info. yeaa.

Kaname and Sousuke have had 3 anime series with the focus mostly on them.

Any new FMP anime is good news, it shows that there's still enough demand for it in Japan.

And somehow, I don't really think Sousuke and Kaname will be missed that much. They'll have way too much time in the limelight pretty soon.

(Personally, I now think DVMC may actually work better as part of a full season that runs all the way to FMP's finale. But I digress.)

See, I think they should do one more Fumoffu-type season (based mostly on the short stories) which would end with four or five episodes dedicated to DVMC (since DVMC is pretty comedy-driven as far as the plot novels go). Then, they could follow with another "serious" season that spans COMO, BOMF, etc.
