Super Robot Wars J - See the Arbalest in action!

They even have a team-up with Kurz & Mao, and one guess as to who Sousuke slaughters.

I've also found one on YouTube with the Bonta-kun assault corps. Ripped straight out of FMP Fumoffu, right down to the "All Clear" signals.

The music that plays in this vid is enough to consider it blissful.

Enjoy.

Heh heh. "Tomorrow" is a good song, but I hope it's not played all the time. :-P

Jeez, those are some really high damage numbers for a machine like Arbalest...

The song only plays during Sosuke's attack scenes... SRW games use the the series' opening as the guest character's theme. Occasionally they'll use a series BGM, like in the last portion of that vid where it used a BGM from season 1...

Your Prayers as been answered. I have read in IGN that it will be in the PS2
Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host -
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Ahem. As mentioned in other threads, the only SRWs that will make it out of Japan are the Original Generations, due to copyright issues. So the only option is to stick with the Japanese set and a text translation guide.

The PS2 one is the remake of OG1 and 2, so no Arbalest either.

Yeah... Its a shame the only reason we can't get it here is because so many different companies hold the distribution rights to the anime in the games. Back in Japan, most of the anime distribution rights for the series used are held by Bandai, which Banpresto is an "offspring" company of. Still... One can dream... T_T

And on the other note, the Hückebien Mk-III is awesome. Boxer Parts FTW.

Heheh, I installed a flight module on Bonta-kun, along with some movement upgrades, and now he flies around taking out Gundams and the like. 8)

I hope they include FMP mechs in the next PS2 (or 3?) installment. I really liked Alpha 3.

But the games are actually quite good if you're into that genre. Too bad only the OGs are coming out here. Btw, there's an OG anime, too.

Yeah. There's to be a TV series soon as well.

On another note, I gave my Arbalest all the goodies instead of Bonta-kun, if only for the rather large damage and defense boost you get when you rush him to the enemies to have a fireworks festival. I also doubled his ammo for the Full-Upgrade bonus, since he ran out of ammo rather quickly when I did that. But Tekkaman Blade was just godly in that game. Fully upgraded, practically NOTHING could hit him, and he was a pretty damn hard hitter even without Hot Blood cast.
