how i think fmp will end

i dont think its about saying "I told ya So" or the most realistic ending.

I think its more about liking the characters and wanting them to have a happy ending, even if we do predict it.

I hate predictable endings as well, but I really hope it doesn't turn into one of those CLAMP-like endings where everyone important dies...and happily ever after seems improbable to me. Oh well, guess we'll find out eventually ^^

Sosuke gets Al back, but when he was seperated from Sosuke, Al ascended to the next level of thought and developed a theory. In order to test it out, they kidnap Fukuyama Yoshiki and deck out an M9 with speakers and a modified control system consisting of an electric guitar. When they field it, his singing has the amazing effect of disabling Amalgam's Lambda Drivers and then Sosuke goes and beats down Leonard with wrestling moves that he experienced from Kaname.

Buuut on a serious note, a possibility I can see:

Sosuke's probably going to get a new machine, and have some difficulty mastering it, but once he does so, he decides to attack Amalgam. Yadda yadda, some outstanding Amalgam personnel come to fight Sosuke, and then Mao, Kurz, etc. fight them off so Sosuke can go on. He fights with Leonard, only to find out that he still can't beat him, and then you get the whole hallucination biz where Sosuke imagines that he's talking with Chidori and stuff, and then, he realizes something. Shit happens, Lambda Driver goes into some sort of mode that even Leonard didn't dare to venture into. Sosuke beats the crap out of Leonard in a berserk rage, and then only when Tessa and Chidori yell out at him, he finally collects himself and calms down. Chidori goes to check on Sosuke, while we figure out that Tessa doesn't really hate her brother THAT much, and then we get the whole "Tessa, I'm sorry" biz as he dies, Tessa crying a bit(out of joy or sadness, I have no idea). And then Chidori finally gets Sosuke out, Sosuke says her name once before falling unconscious. Chidori starts crying and stuff and then shit happens etc. We find out Mao, Kurz, and Clouzat managed to pwn the crap out those suckers. And then Mardukas crashes the TDD-1 into Amalgam's base to retrieve everyone quickly and then you get the mushy mushy ending.

This is totally my guess on this subject, but I think they will have taken Al from the wreckage of the Arbalest and put it in the previously incomplete ARX-8 (I can't remember if it said where Wraith and Hunter were at the end of BOMF, though- Korea? Just somewhere cold). Sousuke will regain his strength and then break out a can of whoopass...well, I hope so, anyway.

Pffft, nah. With the introduction of some Sagara emo in TSR, I think it'd be best to have him uber-emo and go Ideon with the ARX7, and destroy the universe.

NUUU!!!

He needs to go kick Leonard's ass after Kalinin comes back with Al and the Arbalest, and gives the Arbalest a GS-Ride, and then Sosuke pwns Leonard by Hell and Heavening the SoB. Kalinin also comes back with a new AS, which are then piloted by Tessa and Mao, who perform Symmetrical Docking along with the AS. Tessa x Mao Symmetrical Docking = Insta-win, if only by nose-bleeding the Amalgam pilots to death.

Dont you think he is already learning what it means to be human, he's experience emotions and such he doesnt normally.

Well I still beleive they will have a happy ending.
Theres so much Romance and Chemistry to cut it down like so many other series have would be a real shame.

Chemistry, yes...as far as romance goes...holding hands has been the extent of it, so I wouldn't say there has been much in this series. Not that I find anything wrong with that...leave out the sappy stuff and throw in more explosions, I say. As long as there is a nice balance in the end, that's what matters.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing some romance, just as long as it's not Fushigi Yuugi-like (god, gag me if it were)...
