Fanartish Substances
Two quick drawings. First one has very minor spoilers for TSR.
Ever wondered why Sousuke was late for the party in Sicily during TSR? Personally I think that lovely little Fiat 125 Special of his was doing Italian-car things... breaking down.
http://www.deviantart.com/view/34792943/
And the second one is just a quick one I sketched at Uni today, Tessa and one of my own characters. No references.

Unfortunately not... Carburettors aren't exactly black technology, I'm not sure she'd know what to do with one
Hmm, probably should do some proper fanart at some point... rather than the random stuff that keeps popping into my head.
Thanks mate.

@Eisenmann: I'm allowed too, I've got two of the things (well, one's mum's the other's mine). You try keeping an '81 Alfa running on a day to day basis and not get complaints about relyability ;P
@sonteen12: Thanks mate. Actually, I'm really not happy with the two in the background though...

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

@ Eisenmann: Alfa nuts. I know EXACTLY where you're comming from!
Mum's got a 1985 Alfa 33 Quattro wagon http://www.deviantart.com/view/31224161/ . The older 1.5L with selectable 4WD. Alfa Sprint running gear underneath with Koni yellows.
I've got a 1981 Alfetta GTV2000 http://www.deviantart.com/view/18947325/ It was lowered about 2 inches before I got it and has been a show car much of it's life. Very low mileage all things considered.
A GT Junior would be awsome. The 105 series coupes were all beautiful. I would LOVE a GTAm or a Montreal (actually the bloke I bought the Alfetta off has one, spent a lot of time wandering around his garage drooling).
Got any yourself?

@cpok well I'm no educated mechanic but I try to fix some stuff here and there by myself. I prefer driving them to fixing them
@wraith I have to admit I don't own one myself.I Was close to buy a GT junior in white this year but i came to late
but your gtv looks beatiful the GTV6 is one of my favourites
I bet there aren't many around with the steering-wheel on the right hand. You must be really happy with it. I always thought were reliable.
my father drives a GTV, too, but a newer one
heres a pic
it's dirty...
ATM I'm driving around with this one
there are only a few places in the world this car hasn't seen hehe. Was in sweden some weeks ago. but it will retire now. I feel guilty abusing it anymore so I'm going to restaurate it.
this picture was from a alfa romeo club meeting my dad participates in

Yeah, I love it. Oh, it's pretty reliable NOW (touch wood). Problem was, when I bought it that it hadn't moved for 18 months, so every bit of rubber in it had perished. Have had to put in new boots, bushings, drive-shaft flexible couplings, new brake booster (after the diaphram blew)... the works. Plus all the usual Alfa oil-leaks and the like New tyres as well (still had original era Michie MXV2s on it... rock solid, zero grip).
Nice GTV there. I always preferred the GTV of that model to the spyder. My uncle's got the spyder and the chassis is a little mushy for my taste. Nice looking set of rubber he's got there as well. Handles like it's on rails I bet
AWSOME! VW van! There's one thing that's got over a sports car: storage space and a nice dry place to sleep where-ever you go. Is the engine on that one still carburated, or had they gone to injection by then?
Nice turn out of Alfas there. Lots of 105 Spyders! I'm part of the Alfa club over here. The turnouts are actually pretty similar. Lots of spyders, a smattering of GTVs and other stuff. You've got a few more modern Alfas there than we get though. Very cool there. They do any track days?

wow you did all the repairs by yourself? i'm impressed.
yeah the gtv drives all by itself it's really fun to drive. although it's only the small 2.0 t.spark it has a real sportscar feeling.the modifications my father did are novitec springs and the wider tires. and yes I prefer the gtv over the spider, too. the back of it is a bit strange especially when the roof is up.
here in germany you don't see many older alfas. mostly one can see 147 and 156sportwagons. 105 spyders and GTVs/spiders are rare.
i'm not sure if they do any track days but next week is the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the nurenburg ring. and alfaclub from everywhere in germany (maybe some other european countries) will be there. I'll be there, too. but the best thing is that the 8C competizione prototype will be around
btw this gets a bit off-topic and my english s*cks
