I thought that the color red in anime is usually indicative of the "hero." Note that Sousuke has red stripes on his plug suit

I think yall are looking to far into this picture personally xD Theres plenty of anime/manga/whatever where main characters are dressed up in somthing that they're never in in the series.

I always thought it was interesting how kaname's suit colors are inverted from sousuke's suit colors.
