Im a bit confused...(about japanese characters' names)

Funny... I also had some doubts regarding the names in FMP! but now I'm totally and absolutely positive that Kaname is her first name, and Chidori is her last/family name. And Sousuke is his name while Sagara is his last name. I knew this easily in the case of Sousuke, because I believe that military people are always called by their last name and their rank (Sagara Gunsou for example). However, any military freaks here that can correct me if I'm wrong?

Unless you are good friends, Military pukes always use the Family name and/or Rank to refer to a person.... unless your family name happens to be something like "Darling" anyway. ^_^
