Like I said before, the armpit racks can hold either grenades or an ATD. Still, the only time I can recall that anyone ever really used the grenades was when Kurz used them in TSR. I think that Sosuke mostly uses them for ATDs.
The shotcannon is awesome, lol. Though its more or less guaranteed that it'll be compatible. I mean, M9s can use them, and they seem easy enough to get...

Honestly, I don't know whats so surprsing. After all, Gatou is a *HUGE* Gundam fan. So it isn't much of a shock if he bases the Arm Slaves on them.

Aha..... I seem to recall something about armpit grenade racks on the Arbalest as well.

If you guys recall the TSR episode where Kurz in his M9 battles a Shadow in that giant maze thingy, he pulled out grenades from the left armpit rack. So I think it's safe to say that the right compartment stores the ATD and grenades in the left since the ARX-7 is based on the M9 chassis.

THere seems to be different variants of shotgun though. Note "The Cat and Kitten's R&R", where Tessa's M6 fires a shotgun at Mao - it doesn't look like the Boxer that the M9 and ARX-7 use (appearing to be a clip-fed weapon). Still, looking at the hands of the ARX-8, I think it'll probably fit.

Though that unseen Demolition Gun has me smiling evilly.

Considering how pwn Sousuke is with a shotgun, imagine how dangerous he'd be if he was using a more powerful weapon.

Found this on a message board I frequent. Apparently, the Demolition Gun can have a barrel extension attached to make it a howitzer. And FMP!'s ATD, though it came first, can be likened to the Dagger L or Windam's "Stiletto" Anti-Armor knives.

Pyrite: You're thinking of the Armor Schnieder combat knives on theDagger Ls and the Strike Gundam. But we all know that the ARX-8 could beat any SEED Gundam. Afterall, it can do Shining Finger. ^____^

Except... Armor Schneiders don't explode. They shred through armor like paper due to plot edges, and if only for the fact that Strike Freedom is clearly going to grow new equipment to let it beat the ARX-8, and Morasawa giving him instant proficiency in using it... *eyeroll* But let's not go into how bad of a series SEED Destiny was.

Anyhow, back on topic. The picture is... ok. I'm with Goose here. Leonard looks too much like Kurz in that picture. D=

Wait: ATDs exploded? I thought they were just AS-sized combat knives. <.< Then again, everything Sousuke touches explodes, sooner or later. Even Kaname.

From what I remember, they were pretty much knives with plastic explosives.
