Alright, we provide the licences for your mech (through the usual bribery/threats), but you'll have to pay for your: fuel, ammunition, mech insurance, etc.

I think that the one thing that I like about AS compared to most other "Real Robots" are that AS don't make things like tanks and fighter planes obsolete. They're not bad on their own, but at the same time, you can easily move them to support a group of tanks. They also have a lot more flexibility and ground mobility compared to MS, though they don't exactly have the best hitting power when compared to most RRs at the same time.

Now, I'm not saying that anime like Gundam aren't bad(though the more recent Gundam SEED Destiny did disappoint me quite a bit...), but like pretty much anyone who watches it can testify to, you could pretty much take out an enemy force of tanks with only a few MS. Of course, that would still depend on tactics used.

Still, I don't know what else I really have to say for AS, since I'm kinda in a "ZOMG MACROSS" train of thought. Valkyries are awesome. 'nough said. XD

And on another note, the Arbalest rocked in SRW J. Insta-Lambda Driver activation on stage start = Win.

It seems in FMP! that AS are randomly placed in a world much like ours. With Black Tech and all, if FMP! was to continue for several years AS might start dominating the battlefield making the other machines obsolete. It kind of looks like it's heading in that direction seeing that pilots like Sousuke kick tank @$$.

Any thoughts on the Belial, besides "...whoa..."?

I'll start by saying that it does have mounted weaponry, although I don't know if the arm Gatling is equivalent in purpose to the Vulcans on most other ASes. (Knowing my luck, it probably is.)

Not gonna lie, the Zy-98 is quite possibly the coolest AS ever. It's a great machine that looks cooler than any other Arm Slave with the possible exception of Sosuke's Bonta-Suit or the Arastol.
I guess that what I'm trying to say is this: FEAR THE Zy-98 IN ALL OF ITS OVERWHELMING UBER!!!

The optical sensors are the same top-notch ones like the M9, but everything else is barebone. How can someone expect to survive in the modern warfare with such a low level of technology?
