On a good day, a Tomahawk can fly into the door of a two-car garage at the distance of several hundred miles. And that can ruin your whole day.

Just to add something to this article about the (MS07-017) patch:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448

It was kinda fun to find this out after we sent out the patch on 200+ Machines with Realtek sound cards....YAY. We were lucky and had no problems, but still.

It's my policy to way at least three of four days before implementing MS patches...

Hey Gauss, what are you guys using for patch deployment??
WSUS?

"Can I help you?, "you know this section is.." she broke off her sentence as the man walked towards her and nodded, "I think you can Captain".
Tessa looked down, "I haven't been called Captain in 4 years," Wha..what do you want?"
He gave her a devious grin, "I'm here to make sure you keep your promise."

Yes well, the decision was not with me, but as soon I saw the article I have stopped the rollout. For deployment we use SMS. My first impression is....oh boy how I hate this thing. I just started at this job and the first thing I have to do is to sort out the dozens of errors SMS gives.
