The one thing I'll give VISTA; seems legions of Mac ppl have conveniently
forgotten when OS X came out 1) how heavy its demand for resources
was -- I think Apple claimed G3's could run it, but just barely 2) how some
pundits pointed out several features the interface conveniently 'borrowed'
from Windows as well.
Anyways, I'll stick to the 'Whatever works for you best' argument

i personally confirmed that Mac OS X will run on a g3. i had it installed on my bondi blue g3 233MHz IMac that i had laying around.
We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can fly only by embracing one another.

...my qualifier though, was 'just barely.' I didn't have any G3s lying around
myself to test, I'm just going off various anecdotes I've heard.

actually ran great, very smooth..... as long as you don't do multimedia. but it will do small videos and what not. =^-^=
