bad news. I saw nothing about the new season at comiket this year I am afraid. but that means jack sh1t about if it means it is a new season or not.

Sorry to break the news to you guys, but apparently, it's just the reairing of the first season, not a new season.

But... we can always hope that Kyoani surprises us with a 4th FMP season. I hope.

wait, since the first season was made by gonzo, does that mean that kyoto is remaking it?

cuz that would be kinda pointless...

It's not a remake. It's just a reair. The same thing from 2002 is going to be shown on TV again. That's all

So my over optimistic hope is that the Japanese public will watch the re-airing and it will generate a ground swell of public demand for more FMP. Kyoto Animation's stock holders, sensing a probable profit center, will demand a new production, and wheels of art and capitalism will result in our getting more Sosuke and Kaname!


Okay, I know this all sounds improbable, but a guy can dream can't he?

Seriously, though, it WOULD be neat if they did DVMC as a direct to video movie.

There is a rumour that 4th season will start ( to produce ) soon.
Because, in Japan, the final section of the original novel will start on Feb, rebroadcast of 1st season on Jan, and Kadokawa's magazine often features this series these days.

i got this froma youtube comment so dont question me about it lol but hope it helps AND I HOPE ITS RIGHT and another comment said i herd a rumour of it airing july 2008 ... :-D

This thread is cruel! I turn up here after ages away and see this thread and think to myself 'oh wow at last!' then get ever so happy only to find it's just a repeat :evil: Damnit! I'm hoping cullenk is right in hoping it might generate more interst and get some support for a new series or special.
