Tsudou Make My Day (TMMD) New Novel/Dragon Mag *Spoilers*

Forgive this very newbie question, but I haven't watched/read any FMP since the TSR series came out and I'm looking for some info on the novels. I've tried to gather info on what all has happened with the Manga/Novels being licensed, but I'm a little confused. How far have the English Manga's gotten in terms of book name and volume? I know it's against the rules to ask where to get the translated novels, but if Tokyopop hasn't gotten that far yet is it at least okay to ask IF the novels have been fan translated? I've found the BOMF novels up to a certain point, but Sigma Vol 2+ escape me as do the Continuing On My Own novels. I'll happily buy them from Tokyopop if they've gotten that far, it's just a matter of figuring out if they've actually gotten that far and google hasn't been that helpful as it keeps bringing up pages that don't really describe the contents of each novel/Volume by Tokyopop.

The novels from The End of Day By Day (The two books TSR is based on) through Continuing On My Own were, indeed, translated by a group called Boku-Tachi. Burning One Man Force was also translated by someone else, I believe. However, once the novels were licensed by Tokyopop, Boku-Tachi took their translations off their site. I'm afraid that you'll just have to wait for the official novels to come out at this point unless you can find someone willing to send you the files. Luckily for you, EODBD should be then next one they release, assuming they keep skipping the short story compilations.

Thanks for the information. I did take a look at the page you linked and I guess I have the main storyline and didn't realize it b/c I have up to chapter 5 of EODBD and COMO. BOMF I've only found up to chapter 3a, which from the translator's website looks to be as far as they got unless someone else did the rest.

Since Tokyopop isn't doing the side stories, has any group ever picked up translating them? Not asking who did them or where, just if they've been done? I'm assuming that nobody has done the most recent one b/c of the licensing issues (Tsudou Make My Day)?

I know people probably get tired of reading these kinds of posts, so I apologize and thank you for the information in advance.

Boku-Tachi did a couple of the short stories (which have also been pulled from their site), but none of the others have been translated so far as I know.

the spoilers that Fullmetaljin posted.. any idea where there from? I assumeing near the end of the novel? Im trying to gauge in my mind if there will be 1 or 2 more novels lol sigh* and I want more information but can never find it.

Btw any spoilers from Semaru Nick of Time.. I hear of brainwashing and such.

to answer this question about the ARX08 finding the manor, I believe there is an error in the translation. Kalini found ARX7 and brought it back to Leonard to review it. He said the machine was BEYOND repair and descides to scrap it. Mind you, I believe the broken down shell of the ARX07 is in the mexican manor with Chidori WHILE the ARX08 is actually ELSEWHERE...with it's LD and it's original AI. The ARX07 is merely a shell,..but because Leonard never bothered to check...he has no idea..

All ARX08 has to do, is send a signal and FIND his older ARX7 shell. In otherwords letting Kalini find the broken ARX7 and bring it to the manor was a setup. THUS AL can track down where the manor is at the same time Sousuke does. It is even possible to say that possibly Lemon detected the same signal released by the ARX7 and tracked down the manor for sousuke...

thus I believe the mystery is resolved. Now, as to WHY the AL took the initiative to do this,..is simple. He knows where ever Amalgam is,..is where Chidori is. All that AL is doing is like finding IP addresses. He recognizes them in battle and tracks it down. Of course, he knows his former shell and all he has to do is find it.

Later ARX08 comes crashing down and lands before Sousuke Via with Wriath...

Interesting. I saw your post on animesuki and it seems like that or something like it could happen in the last novel.

On another note, there's some people translating the novels from BOMF onward, so it may be wise to wait till those come out rather than look at spoilers.
